A reset that’s not so great

In the beginning יהוה – YHVH – created the heavens and the earth. – Genesis 1:1

When one resets a circuit breaker, they must first turn off all electricity and then turn it back on. To change the reading of an odometer, one needs to reset it to 0. A few wealthy people who believe they own everything have declared that we must all undergo a great reset, and they are delighted to facilitate this. Conspiracy theories abound but can easily be dismissed because of sensationalism or lack of substantiated facts. However this video is one of the most essential ones for intercessors to prayerfully watch from the ramparts where we’ve each been stationed:

After watching, one could easily conclude that the people who are highlighted in this video own everything in the world and there’s absolutely nothing anyone can do about it. Yet according to Proverbs 16:4, “YHVH has made everything for its own purpose, even the wicked for the day of evil.” As I continued to search the Bible for answers, I found the following Scriptures that show who is really in charge. Of course we already know this, but in light of this video and current events, it’s easy to get distracted, discouraged and even feel hopeless for the future of our families and loved ones as we see how a few evil ones can dominate and take control over our lives.

And yet we need a continual reminder not to be filled with hatred when we hear the latest news but be filled with the Holy Spirit, because as Ephesians 6:12 so clearly points out, “we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.”

As watchmen on the walls we have a calling and a responsibility to pray into these Scriptures because, according to Joshua 1:3, every place on which the sole of our feet tread will be given to us by YHVH. May He give wisdom and discernment in abundance to each of us as we watch what happens next in the nations and in Israel, which is center stage for the increasingly dramatic world events that lead to Messiah’s return! Maranatha!

Genesis 14:19 He blessed him and said, “Blessed be Abram of YHVH Most High, Possessor of heaven and earth.

Leviticus 25:23 The land, moreover, shall not be sold permanently, for the land is Mine; for you are but aliens and sojourners with Me.

Psalm 115:16 The heavens are the heavens of YHVH, but the earth He has given to the sons of men.

Job 41:11 Who has given to Me that I should repay him? Whatever is under the whole heaven is Mine.

Daniel 2:21-22 It is He who changes the times and the epochs; He removes kings and establishes kings; He gives wisdom to wise men and knowledge to men of understanding. It is He who reveals the profound and hidden things; He knows what is in the darkness, and the light dwells with Him.

Ezekiel 18:4 Behold, all souls are Mine; the soul of the father as well as the soul of the son is Mine. The soul who sins will die.

Haggai 2:8 “The silver is Mine and the gold is Mine,” declares the YHVH of hosts.

Luke 12:20 But YHVH said to him, “You fool! This very night your soul is required of you; and now who will own what you have prepared?”

Acts 4:24 And when they heard this, they lifted their voices to YHVH with one accord and said, “O YHVH, it is You who made the heaven and the earth and the sea, and all that is in them.”

1 Corinthians 10:26 For the earth is YHVH’s, and all it contains.

Ephesians 4:6 There is… One YHVH and Father of all who is over all and through all and in all.

Hebrews 3:4 For every house is built by someone, but the builder of all things is YHVH.

Each message that was delivered to the followers of Messiah in the Book of Revelations concludes with, “The one who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the kehilot, congregations.”

Carry Deuteronomy 31:6 with you wherever you go: So be strong and courageous; do not be afraid or tremble at them for יהוה YHVH is the one who goes with you. He will never fail you nor forsake you.
