Ancient Persia

I was taken in the Spirit to ancient Persia, where we sat by a beautiful river in a green, lush area that had flowers and flora I have never seen before. People sat by the river and read literature and engaged in many intellectual activities such as mathematical pursuits that were related to the stars in the sky. The artwork of that time included drawings of beautiful women with intricately designed filigree patterns on their clothing of royal blue, purple and scarlet – absolutely stunning!

Then I saw Queen Esther and there are no words to describe her beauty. But more than her beauty was her sense of purity, a characteristic that was extremely rare in those days. This was the real reason she was chosen as queen.

Things began to change when an animal that was part dog and part something else came into the garden and began to pour out fear and destruction into this paradisiacal setting. Soon the books were closed and the river began to dry up.

The setting was all but forgotten for many years, but now it is beginning to wake up. I saw a young African girl singing over Persia, and then I saw many Africans who joined in the chorus of praise to the G-d of Heaven, who would raise up this region to fulfill her ancient destiny. And the river began to exhibit signs of life again.

Later I awoke from a dream where I was watching a young dark curly-haired man dream that the winds were removed from the sails of the ships of the seas.

And then he saw thrones of judgment being set up, one after another. As I watched his dream unfold and the thrones established, somehow  I knew they were for judgment against the north and eastern nations and tribal regions where disaster had been poured out against Israel.
