As each week goes by the prospects of a full blown war between Israel and Iran becomes more real and more imminent. This animosity between the Iranian government and Israel has been building up since the time of the overthrow of the Shah of Iran in January 1978, and his replacement by a radical Islamic government. Now 44 years later, the 2 nations are on the brink of what has to potential to be a catastrophic missile war. The danger that Iran poses to Israel and the Jewish people is not a modern phenomenon …. the story we read in the book of Esther took place in ancient Persia, the same location as modern Iran.
The Iran of the 21st century is a very technically advanced nation in nuclear science and in military weapons. Funded by the income from oil exports, the Iranian nuclear industry is very sophisticated, to the point that they are now able to purify uranium U235 to more than 90%. Most nuclear reactors only require about 5% purity, which makes it very obvious that Iran’s claims to the international community that they are not planning to produce nuclear warheads, are pure lies. It is also important to know that the majority of Iran’s strategic nuclear facilities and associated industries have been built deep underground to protect them, and to make it much more difficult for spy satellites to watch what they are doing. Over the last decade Iran has also manufactured very high quality long range intercontinental ballistic missiles designed to carry nuclear warheads to primarily attack Israel and the USA. At the same time Iran has upgraded its navy warships and air force fighter jets.
Obviously Israel has been fully aware of Iran’s intentions and plans since the days of the Islamic revolution, and has a program of its own to pre-empt and prevent an Iranian missile attack on Israel. Over the last several years an increasing number of Iranian nuclear facilities, power stations, oil refineries and ships carrying weapons have been ‘mysteriously’ attacked, and a number of high level members of the elite Iranian Revolutionary Guards and top level scientists have died in ‘suspicious’ circumstances. One major coup that Israel acknowledged was the infiltration by Israeli agents of the building in Tehran that housed the archives of Iran’s entire nuclear program. The agents escaped with 50,000 CD Roms of information that proved without any doubt that Iran was developing Nuclear warheads. Former Prime Minister Netanyahu presented the evidence to the Trump administration which caused them to pull out of the existing nuclear agreement. However when Biden became the president things took a backward step and Iran continued its nuclear weapons development program to the point where it is today …….
Iran continues to openly declare their intention to destroy ‘the Zionist State” (Israel)
Iran continues to increase the enrichment of Uranium 235 to beyond 90%
Iran continues to increase the number of centrifuges used to enrich the Uranium
Iran continues to add and to and update its navy ships and submarine fleet and to add and improve the Air Force
Iran continues to add and improve its stock of short and long range rockets and missiles
Iran continues to arm and finance Hezbollah, Hamas and other terror groups and to establish front line military based in Syria – all for the purpose of attacking Israel
Israel’s government and military leaders continue to openly declare that they will never allow Iran to have nuclear weapons
Israel continues to closely monitor everything that Iran is preparing
Israel continues to try to convince world leaders of Iran’s real intentions
Israel continues to pre-emptively abort every attempt by Iran to place bases and military personnel in Syria and Lebanon
Israel continues to pre-emptively ‘neutralise’ Iranian military officers who pose a threat to Israel and Jewish people everywhere ( 8 ‘mysterious’ deaths in 8 weeks)
Israel continues to pre-emptively destroy Iranian nuclear facilities and equipment that pose a threat to Israel and the people of Israel.
Israel continues to prepare the Air Force for a mission to attack Iran’s nuclear facitlities
Israel continues to prepare the rest of the military to defend the nation against all forms of attack by our neighbours
So in light of the above information lets ask the question again …… Are we on the brink of an Israel-Iran war? And if the answer is yes, then we need to PRAY as never before. With the collapse of the current coalition government the people of Israel need you love, solidarity and prayer. Here are our suggested prayer points …..
The Israel Government: Pray for a supernatural and quick solution to the ongoing impass in Israel’s political situation. Pray for a strong, experienced prime minister who can put together a majority in the Knesset. Pray that the temporary government leaders will not be manipulated by the USA to act against the will of GOD
The Israeli Military (IDF): Pray for supernatural protection of the Israeli army, navy and air force personnel as they defend Israel from Iran and the terror groups who are planning to cause serious harm and destruction.
The Nation of Israel: Pray that as the people of Israel realise the imminent dangers of the missile war that they are facing, that they will fall to their knees and cry out to GOD to save them – physically and spiritually. When this threat of a missile war with Iran, Hezbollah anf Hamas, Israel will need a greater miracle than what happened in the SIx Day War of 1967.
The Nations: Pray for this miracle to be even more spectacular than in 1967 – that millions in the nations will also cry out to the GOD of Israel and accept Yeshua as their Messiah.
Iran: We need to pray that the GOD of Israel will reveal Himself and His Son Yeshua the Messiah to millions of Iranian Muslims, and that the huge increase in the numbers of Believers in Iran will bring about a counter-revolution to overthrow the current Islamic government and replace it with Bible believing leaders who do not hate Israel.
