“God is love”
But God is not only love. Yeshua said, “As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Now remain in my love. If you keep my commands, you will remain in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commands and remain in his love.” And, “As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man.“ Outside of the love of God there is Hell to pay. I know that for a fact, having found that love only around age thirty, and tasted and seen the hellish history of humanity, right up to the Holocaust where my own family perished, and the wars and depravations and injustices since.
The word Covid in Hebrew means ‘heavy’ or ‘weight’, whereas Cavod, derived from the same basic Hebrew root, means ‘honor’ or ‘glory.’ Certainly the Covid pandemic has laid a heavy and burdensome weight and toll upon the entire world of humanity in our days. Whereas it is the Melech HaCavod- the King of Glory, who rules sovereignly in the affairs of men and nations. It is that same Sovereign who has sent plagues upon the nations for the wickedness of men and for His own purposes from the flood in the days of Noah to the exodus from Egypt, unto this day. We have seen that there is no definitive cure for the Covid plague by the hand and cleverness of men, but for our turning and giving Cavod (honor) unto the Melech HaCavod (the King of glory) and Sovereign of the Universe, and to walk in His ways:
‘If I shut up heaven that there be no rain, or if I command the locusts to devour the land, or if I send pestilence among my people; If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land’ -2 Chronicles 7:14.
Until, alas, as in the days of Noah, the die is already cast, the verdict sealed (Revelation 15:1-8), and the door of the ark shut tight.
