Daily News Summary: Netanyahu speaks at the Christian Media Summit

Jordanian nationals to be released:
The
two Jordanian nationals that are being detained in Israel are set to be released by the end of the week. Heba al-Labadi and Abdul Rahman Mari have been held for almost two month without charges and have been the focal point of ongoing Israel/Jordan tensions. 

Netanyahu speaks at the Christian Media Summit:
In his brief but warm speech
the prime minister conveyed his appreciation to the Christian world and Christian Zionism for their continued support of the land of Israel. He went on to describe how the perception of Israel is changing in the eyes of some of its fellow Middle Eastern countries due to Israel’s openness, freedom, and sharing of common enemies; radical Islamic sects. Netanyahu encouraged participants to be offensive when it comes to defending Israel, not solely defensive to anti-Israel attacks. “Delegitimize the digitizers and you should do that everywhere”, he stated.

Bennett calls on Netanyahu and Gantz to form a unity government:
At a memorial for Rabbi Ovadia Yosef, New Right MK Naftali Bennett urged Netanyahu and Gantz to form a unity government. The New Right leaders have been offered positions in government from the competing lead parties but as of now have not accepted any offers.
