The general strike in Arab communities over violence:
2019 has seen 68 murders in the Arab Israeli sector. This Thursday a general strike will be held to call upon the Israeli government to assist and take action in these communities. 

Joint List to boycott Knesset swearing in:
The Joint Arab List has announced that all 13 of its members will boycott the upcoming swearing in of the knesset members. This “general boycott” comes about after a rise in violence crimes in the Arab Israeli towns.  Members of the Joint List have demanded that the government get involved, but as Lukid MK Shlomo Karhi pointed out that members of the Joint List have opposed setting up police stations these sectors and have “rallied the residents against the collection of weapons”.

Liberman may present offer to form a government:
During a party session today the Yisrael Beytenu leader stated that if no government is formed by Yom Kippur he will present offers to both Likud and Blue and White leaders. 

Israeli UN Ambassador Danny Danon has first meeting with new US Ambassador Kelly Craft:
The two ambassadors reportedly discussed steps that could be taken to combat Hezbollah and Hamas. Craft assumes the position left by the departure of Nikki Haley, who was popular in Israel. Last month in her first appearance on the Middle East debate in the UN spoke strongly in support of Israel, saying “Israel will have no better friend than Kelly Craft”.

The Iota Project: Started by Israeli philanthropist Shula Mozes, employes and enables women throughout the art of crochet. The project has employed beaudoin women in the south of Israel as well as Syrian refugee women throughout Europe.
