Dream: A Mountain

Mountains in Switzerland (Photo: Carolyn Hyde)

I didn’t write this dream down but it lingered all day long until midnight:

I was in Switzerland on a very high mountain. The mountain reached up to the sky and although there was heavy forest all around, at the top of the mountain not much could grow because it was so tall.

I was living in a very small village about halfway up the mountain. There were three houses and they all looked the same with mailboxes out front and walkways from the only road that wove up the mountain.

The house I was staying in was the first one. In the backyard another house had been built that was made of wood and had a very strange configuration in the layout of the design. The main floor was very small with a flight of stairs leading to the bottom of the house where there were two doors – one to leave to go outside and the other was locked and unknown. Each time I went out the back door under the house I saw more sheep and soon there were so many sheep that I realized I needed to take them up the mountain to graze. So I did.

The sheep were so tender and sweet natured. And I remember continually looking up at the top of this mountain in awe while at the same time understanding the chaos in the city below in Switzerland.

Interpretation 1:

Davos is a little mountain village, comparable with the area described in the dream, in Switzerland.

I feel this mountain you saw is the mountain of God, whose peak goes into the heavens where God’s kingdom is. Heavenly beings do not need to consume earthly food, so vegetation decreases upwards, God has keep fresh grass for the sheep higher, not beneath.

The house half way up from the ground shelters the believers, not intermingling with WEF OWO.

Wood = unsustainable, vulnerable to weather, and wear and tear, brown color of wood shows humanity.

People were out of sight, in the lower floor or basement. Their divine purpose was not made public; you will find them only when you go looking for them, who are in larger numbers than we know. Many stay covert.

Secret things belong to the LORD, and it is the honor of kings to search them out. The locked room may have the answers, and keys are our prayers and the living life by the Holy Spirit. HE wants us to content according to the spirit of the One who is building HIS mountain on the earth, in the sight of every other kingdom. (Daniel 2:35)

The mountain that fills the whole earth; Christ is the stone that struck the Roman empire. We must move in prayer and have our being, in union with the seven spirits of God that are before the lampstand! May the door unlock in our generation! We may not have to pass on the baton to another generation, be strong and do exploits!

The sheep have the character of their Shepherd. Keep your eyes upward, and let us pray that HIS mountain is completely establish in the earth during our generation, replacing every other kingdom of man and darkness. Praise Yeshua.

Interpretation 2:

Mic 4:1  But it shall be in the last days the mountain of the house of Jehovah shall be established in the top of the mountains, and it shall be lifted up above the hills; and peoples shall flow to it.

Mic 4:2  And many nations shall come and say, Come and let us go up to the mountain of Jehovah, and to the house of the God of Jacob. And He will teach us of His ways, and we will walk in His paths; for the Law shall go forth out of Zion, and the Word of Jehovah from Jerusalem.

Mic 4:3  And He shall judge between many peoples, and will decide for strong nations afar off; and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruning hooks. Nation shall not lift up a sword against nation, And they shall not still learn war.

Mic 4:4  But they shall sit each one under his vine and under his fig tree; and there shall be no trembling; for the mouth of Jehovah of Hosts has spoken,

Mic 4:5  For all peoples will walk, each one in the name of his god; and we will walk in the name of Jehovah our God forever and ever.
