Dream – Eternity

As darkness grew all around I was taken up to a place of peace, far from the madness below. The colors were softer and yet more brilliant. And I came to an understanding that, from a heavenly perspective, things are not at all what they seem. There were no sides taken in war, no good guys versus bad, but instead each individual was enduring a lifestyle that would lead them to a point of no return. I saw each individual at the edge of an enormous cliff at the precipice of eternity, where they would soon be escorted into the Light, or if they stubbornly clung to their pig sty, into a type of darkness where even the air was unbreathable and the softest leather caused deep gashes in their already inflamed skin. It was beyond horrible and caused a depth of sorrow that inspired me to reach out to more and more who are perishing.

Now I truly grasp Adonai’s heart that none should perish and be condemned for eternity in such a place!

Many journalists were there and others who were holding tightly to their scrolls that were sealed, never to be opened and read, whose destinies were forever closed. I saw the writing pens in their hands become chisels and artistic tools that sculpted the minds and hearts of the frail and spineless to follow their works, hanging on their every word as if they were nuggets of gold. Yet this developed into a depth of anguish that caused each individual to thrust their heads looking upward, while continually issuing a silent scream whose voice was lost long ago. This was so difficult for me to even contemplate!

But the thing that touched me the most in this place was the intensity of loneliness – no family or friendship or even a superficial companionship were anywhere to be found. Continually unending and impossibly unendurable, while at the same time bringing a determination to reach the lost like never before!

Interpretation 1:

To the Church: take heed of what choices you will make that will either build upon your basic spiritual foundation laid (barren landscape/basic housing/joy) or what only will serve to satisfy the soul (parallel universe). The spirit & soul are divided. (2 roads) The choices are crucial & not always easily or readily apparent. (crossroads dilemma)

We will be tempted or drawn to what delights the soul (lush trees/food) because we think we need it & are drawn to something else (home feels unappealing) but it’s not what truly builds on our eternally lasting foundation. Our soul will be drawn to be fed on what doesn’t feed the Spirit (empty restaurant/no seating) & will lessen our ability to discern good from evil (dirty window).  Beware of those we are now or have respected in the past to guide our choices (doctor/happy workers) but what they say is a deception (thin veil) & only leads to spiritual emptiness.

What draws us to satisfy our souls will be attractive but is often a sham (masked people, fake flowers). The warning is strong…. so don’t ignore!  (hungry/ill baby crying for attention). Make careful, prayerful choices.

Prov 14:15 A simple man believes everything, but the prudent man carefully considers his ways.

Eph 5:15    Therefore watch carefully how you walk, not as unwise, but as wise;

Interpretation 2:

Could Metaverse be the parallel universe???? All made up, but nothing is real…all nice and perfect but devoid of Truth.

Interpretation 3:

While I’m not sure it symbolizes the metaverse, I also feel this dream is about the human temptation to try creating heaven on earth – and when realizing that it is not possible, do as if it was and convince others of the same illusion.

Truth is: there is no safety other than our Lord’s. This is how I would interpret it: No technological tool can guarantee our safety (3rd part of the restaurant), nor the fact of belonging to a certain group (identity as factory worker, 1st part), and when our soul feeds only on what the world has to give us, our life remains empty (2nd part).

How can we fulfill the responsibility of being a caretaker (for people and other spiritual “babies”)? Only by staying on his path of life, wherever it leads us.
