Some friends and I who were recently together at a conference in South Carolina, were transported and found ourselves walking about Zion in the time just after the crucifixion of our Messiah Yeshua.
Unbeknownst to each other, one by one we came upon a small brown hut and experienced such a deeply penetrating heartbreak in one particular room. After John left the hut he went to the designated meeting place and waited for the rest of us.
As I approached this hut, I was very much drawn inside and walked straight into that particular room. Immediately I sensed the presence of Yeshua and sitting on the one step in the room, uncontrollably wept for a long time. There I was given visions and saw seals that were soon to be opened and scrolls soon to be released.
The room had an unevenly rounded high ceiling, clearly man made. The lightly plastered walls and ceiling were multi-colored with pale shades of green, blue, gold, scarlet and purple. The sequencing of these colorful yet misshapen forms vaguely reminded me of stained glass. Then I realized that others from different times had visited this room where Yeshua wept before He went to the cross. And using the colors and forms they’d viewed, the best way these artists could depict what they saw was via the medium of stained glass. But apparently they took it to another level and made the colors brilliant. However, the colors during the time that Yeshua walked about Zion were pale, and could even be described as meek and humble.
After lingering in this room for a long time in indescribable pain mixed with the joy set before me, I stood up from the floor and left. I didn’t even bother exploring the other room of the hut or around it because this room was a Holy place and nothing could top it. When I walked outside everything seemed different – the trees were shaking and clapping their hands, the heavens were open with cloud formations that were unlike anything I’d ever seen before. Suddenly I was in complete awe while experiencing the heavens and the earth in the midst of declaring the glory of the King!
A tremendous sense of peace flooded my whole existence as I realized that this heavenly experience on earth from 2000 plus years ago is about to happen again as the return of Yeshua draws near. These will be days of almost unbearable pain and tears intermingled with joy and belonging beyond anything we’ve ever known, the joy of the nearness of Yeshua dwelling in our midst once again. And I stand corrected in that last statement as we’ll be dwelling in His midst, but this time for all eternity!
So may we all carry the joy of His glorious promises within, because we’ll need to access this hope often as we walk into the coming darkness before the brightness of His return.
Several interpretations:
- This dream confirms what the Lord has said to me. It will be the worst of times but more importantly the best of times for the light of God’s glory.
- This dream gives a total confirmation in my spirit, and the famous literary line, “It was the best of times; it was the worst of times”. Only the direction of our gaze and hope will determine which it is for each individual.
- This dream explains itself very clearly. Thank you, L-rd, for the picture, and we would do well to keep it in front of us in the coming days.
