It was 7:00 a.m. on Sunday, December 27th when the radio news report announced that an Israeli soldier had been involved in a terrorist stabbing at the Jerusalem Central Bus Station.
Who would’ve ever thought that it was Seth, a former Makor HaTikvah student who had worked as our maintenance person over the past year before being recruited into the army just a few weeks ago? We’d just had a farewell party for him where we all chipped in and gave him warm socks and other thermal clothes he’d be needing while doing his basic training. Seth is a godly, young man who exudes excellence in all he does, so it wasn’t odd that the Lord would protect him even during this unexpected attack where he only sustained a couple of stab wounds to his shoulder but was otherwise relatively fine.
Please keep Seth in your prayers while he begins his army service- for heavenly hosts to surround him and watch over his every step.
