The last few months have seen significant changes in the world that cause me to wonder if something has shifted in the spiritual atmosphere and that is now bringing about major changes in the natural world. I am sure that nobody will disagree with me that the world has been sliding into ‘the abyss’ at an ever increasing rate over the last 50 years. I believe that it is not a coincidence that we are now at the 50th anniversary of the reunification of Jerusalem at the end of the Six Day War. Many Christian commentators believe that when that dramatic event happened, the prophetic time clock that had stopped ticking when Jerusalem was destroyed by the Roman Empire 2000 years ago, started ticking again and initiated the final countdown to the return of the Messiah.
If we look back over the last 50 years we also have witnessed a steadily growing corruption of morals and behaviour, and a deepening departure from Biblical standards (GOD’s standards) which began in 1967. During this period of time, humanism and left wing liberalism have taken over our world, to the point that the world now calls what was once considered evil ‘good’ and what was once considered good is now ‘evil’. It is now becoming evil to call young people ‘boys’ or ‘girls’, and such signs are even being removed from public toilets for fear off offending those who were once considered deviant.
In the political world, keeping the Muslims happy, and rejecting the laws of God in the desire to be ‘Politically Correct’ and to protect ‘Human Rights’, is the driving force behind the way the political leaders govern our countries. As I wrote in the previous paragraph, God’s choice of the gender of our babies no longer carries any weight, and in most of our countries there are no sexual boundaries and as a result of that, the most dangerous time of a human being’s life is in the womb. And all these issues are getting more serious as time goes on. But… maybe the world’s rebellion against the Creator has gone too far and YHVH has said “ENOUGH!”, and perhaps we are witnessing the beginnings of a turn around.
The first indication that the 50 year liberal left wing tide has turned was the surprise victory of the UK Brexit campaign. Then the even bigger surprise/shock Donald Trump victory in the United States elections indicates another major swing to the right. Then I heard a news report on the TV that said a number of other countries politics were moving more to the right, and I immediately considered the possibility that some thing had shifted in the spiritual realm and the slide into liberalism had turned around.
If I am correct, it is just the beginning and of course we can expect the enemy to strike back viciously. We may be seeing that already with the UN anti-Israel resolution and the Paris Peace Summit. I have a sense that all Hell may be breaking lose as the Devil realises that YHVH is rising up and that his time is short. I was sharing this with a brother a few days ago and he said that it was time for the Body of Messiah to “mobilise” and become the Army of the LORD. It is crucial that the Christian Church wakes up to her ‘grafted-in to the Olive Tree’ relationship to Israel and the Jewish people, and the Church’s dependency on the existence of Israel (Romans 11:18). Also that the return of Yeshua to set up the Kingdom of YHVH on the Earth is dependent on the full restoration of Israel and the Jewish people (Acts 3:21).
Understanding the above should then cause every true Christian to love Israel and the Jewish people, to rise up and mobilise themselves to be good soldiers in the Army of YHVH, standing with Israel in defense of her right to all of the Promised Land, and to pray for the protection of Israel and for the return and salvation of the Jewish people.
Therefore let us pray the above without ceasing, and that this possible ‘right turn’ around will continue, moving our nations back to the ways of GOD.
