Is the War in Syria Really Over?

And he will be a wild man; his hand will be against every man, and every man’s hand against him; and he shall dwell in the presence of all his brethren. – Genesis 16:12

News broke earlier in the week that the USA and Russia have finally succeeded in brokering a cease-fire between the warring factions in Syria. Time will tell if the cease-fire will really succeed, but I have serious doubts. As the opening verse from Genesis clearly tells us, Ishmael (and his descendants) will be wild people. History confirms the accuracy of that verse. Islam was initially spread by violence and the followers of Mohammed continue to carry out acts of violence until today. Even in the 21st century people have been beheaded in the name of the god of Islam and Mohammed.

As we all know, the violence carried out by the Islamic terror groups is not just against non-Muslims. The various denominations of Islam hate each other and think nothing of blowing up or murdering in other ways, their fellow Muslims. In fact in recent years many, many more Muslims have been killed than non-Muslims. More than 300,000 Muslims have been killed in the Syrian civil war over the last 5 years. Thousands more Muslims have been killed in Iraq, Pakistan, Somalia and Sudan.

This week the USA remember the tragedy of the World Trade Centre and Pentagon attack. Islam and terror has not changed its ideology in the last 15 years.

However, our leaders and the media continue to deceive us by constantly declaring that Islam is a religion of peace. That is an outright lie. The death toll at the hands of Muslims over the last 15 years tells the true story.

So is there a chance that for peace in Syria in the close future. In my opinion that is not very likely. There are too many factions involved. The main problem is that the Muslim mindset is very different to the Western mindset. The Western politicians simply do not understand the way Muslims think. The ‘if we are nice to them, they will be nice to us’ concept does not apply to Muslims. They see our benevolence as pathetic weakness. The Muslim ideology is to say whatever the enemy wants to hear and continue with the war plan.

The bottom line is that Ishmael is still a wild man and the evil murderous spirit of Islam intensifies that wild nature. On a sobering closing note, if Muslims think nothing of killing other Muslims, then what are the prospects for Jews and Christians?  All over the Muslim areas in Judea and Samaria (the so called West Bank) is Arabic graffiti which says “First we kill the Saturday people, then we kill the Sunday people.” No more needs to be said!
