Israel Business Forum Brings Together International Christian Investors and Israeli Messianic Jewish Entrepreneurs

The 2nd annual Israel Business Forum, organized by Israel Firstfruits Center, was held at the Yehuda Hotel in Jerusalem this past Thursday, March 15, 2014. There were 39 international participants from the US, Canada, UK, Taiwan, Korea, Sweden, Egypt and Nigeria, in addition to approximately 150 local participants.

The event included the finals of the annual business plan competition in which eight entrepreneurs presented their ideas. The top three wining plans included a cupcake boutique, an innovative English-learning game company, and a nano-technology start-up that converts waste into useful nano-carbon materials. The Israel Business Forum also marked the graduation of the second 6-month Kingdom Business & Entrepreneurship Course.

The feedback from the participants was extremely positive with comments such as “a tremendous way to see first hand what God is doing in the Messianic community of Israel”.  During the week leading up to the forum, the international participants also had the opportunity to visit the Knesset and meet with leading politicians, as well as Israeli business people, both from the Messianic community and Israeli Hi-Tech community.
