Israel’s leading English newspaper, the Jerusalem Post, has for years devoted the back page of their weekend magazine to highlight the personal journeys of Jews who chose to leave their country behind and make Israel their home.

Messianic believers in the land also have our own inspiring and even miraculous stories to tell about moving here. Hence we are delighted to present a new weekly feature in Kehila News, “Why I Chose to Make Israel My Home.”

This new column will highlight the riveting stories of believers who decided to move to Israel, what motivated them, details about the process and whether they still feel that this decision was worthwhile.

Each story is different, sometimes outlining difficulties, roadblocks or great challenges, but they all have one common thread: that the journey was worth it and that great things can come from the perseverance, patience and determination required during the process.

We hope that these accounts will inspire our readers and even challenge those considering such a move. Due to the sensitive nature of these stories, we will not reveal the authors’ real names or photos.

We’d love your feedback, so please let us know what you think.

We will update with new links to the stories as they are posted.
