I am writing this article because the Greatest Love Story of all, Yeshua’s Love Story for His Bride, is woven within the mysteries of the 7 Feasts of the LORD, which God spoke to Moses in Sinai, Leviticus 23. The Truths of these mysteries are only partially taught.
God gave the 7 Feasts of the LORD to Israel to keep each year as rehearsals, until the fullness of time would come when God would send forth His Son Yeshua to earth, born of a woman, to fulfill each one of these 7 Feasts, in preparation for God’s Shabbat, His Millennial Reign on earth for 1000 years with His beloved Bride.
Leviticus 23:1-3 And the LORD spoke to Moses, saying, “Speak to the children of Israel, and say to them, ‘The Feasts of the LORD, which you shall proclaim to be holy convocations, these are My Feasts! ‘Six days shall work be done, but the seventh day is a Sabbath of solemn rest, a holy convocation. You shall do no work on it; it’s the Sabbath of the LORD in all your dwellings.
Then God proceeded to speak of the 7 Feasts of the LORD; these 7 were weaved into one magnificent Bridal tapestry!
(1) the LORD’s Passover;
(2) the Feast of Unleavened Bread;
(3) the Feast of the First Fruits of barley;
(4) the Feast of the First Fruits of wheat, Shavuot;
(5) Zichron Teruah (Yom Teruah), the Feast of Trumpets,
[Strong’s # 2146 & # 8643, a memorable day of high joyful sound]
Yeshua’s Marriage to His Bride in Heaven;
(6) Yom Kippur, Day of Atonement, the Lord’s Return;
(7) Succoth, the Feast of Tabernacles.
Shabbat, the 7th day, Friday evening at dusk till Saturday at dusk: the Day when God rested after His six Days of creating Creation. This Day is symbolic of the 1000 year Millennial Reign of Yeshua with His Beloved Bride, His Wife, which He will begin very soon.
The LORD’s Passover (14th day of the first month) Leviticus 23:5
Feast of Unleavened Bread (15th – 21st of first month) 23:6-8 Both fulfilled on Yeshua’s Crucifixtion Day and Death on the Cross.
Yeshua gave His Body and His Blood, submitting to the death of His physical Life, because of His Great Love & Obedience both to His Father in Heaven, and because of His Great Love for God’s Creation of mankind and the earth. He paid this Great Price for the Salvation of mankind offering Eternal Life to all those who would accept Him as their Savior and Lord. With His Eternal Atonement, Yeshua brought forth His Body and His hidden Bride from His side, to be perfected as God’s sons into His own image and likeness.
Feast of First Fruits of barley, Yeshua’s Resurrection Day, occurring on the 2nd or 3rd day of the 7 days of Unleavened Bread, during the time of the Passover celebration. Leviticus 23:10
From that day of the First Fruits of barley, Israel would then begin counting of the omer until 50 days later, which would bring them to the next Feast of the LORD … the First Fruits of wheat.
50 days after Yeshua’s Resurrection Day is Shavuot, the Bridal
Feast of First Fruits of wheat, which was later called Pentecost.
This would be an offering of two loaves of leavened bread, with 144,000 in each loaf. See Revelation 7:3-8 and Revelation 14:1-5
Yeshua’s Bride will be His First Fruits Harvest of spring wheat.
The first Shavuot happened about 3500 years ago at Mount Sinai, 50 days after the children of Israel had left Egypt. There, God used His voice as a Shofar, called the First Trump, where He gave the children of Israel the Ten Commandments and where He entered a Marriage Betrothal Covenant with Israel + a mixed multitude.
But something else happened on that day at Mount Sinai when Yeshua used His Voice as a Shofar from Heaven. That First Trumpet call of God was a call for Yeshua’s Bride, a call that went out into all the earth calling for Yeshua’s Bride from both Jews and Gentiles, men and women. God later divorsed Israel for adultery. (Jeremiah 3:8) But God cried, “Return, oh backsliding children,” says the LORD, “for I am Married to you.” Jeremiah 3:14
The second great Shavuot event happened almost 2000 years ago in an Upper Room in Jerusalem, 50 days after Yeshua’s death on the Cross, where 120 disciples of Yeshua were gathered together waiting for something special to happen, which Yeshua told them was about to happen. Suddenly the Spirit of God was poured out mightily on all those 120 gathered in that Upper Room on Mount Zion hill in Jerusalem, with the Torah placed in their hearts. This was Yeshua’s New Marriage Betrothal Covenant with His Bride to once again come forth from both Jews and Gentiles, but this time paid for by Yeshua’s death and with the shedding of His Perfect sinless Jewish Blood, making us into the One New Man!
The Bridegroom delayed until the Midnight Hour. (Matthew 25:5) In Revelation 10:1-7, we see this Mighty Messenger (whom I believe is Yeshua by every description verifed in two or more places in the Bible) cries with a loud Voice as when a Lion Roars. (verse 3) I believe this is when the remnant of Yeshua’s Bride will be taken up to Heaven on Shavuot. Then He says that there will be delay no longer, but that then when the seventh angel begins to sound the seventh trumpet (Revelation 11:15) the Mystery of God would be finished which God told to His servants the prophets.
The fulfillment of Shavuot will finally take place, when the remnant, the remaining members of Yeshua’s Bride still on earth will be taken up to Heaven at the Midnight Hour (Matthew 25:6), in preparation for Yeshua’s Marriage in Heaven. For the last 2000 years all true believers who have died have gone up into Heaven. Within Yeshua’s Body of believers in Heaven are some who are also the members of Yeshua’s Bride, waiting for the fullness of Yeshua’s Bridal party to be completed, so that the Marriage of the Lamb and His Bride can take place. Revelation 19:7, 8
So when is the Midnight Hour? The Midnight Hour happens very late in the Great Tribulation years, when the remaining group of Yeshua’s Bride still on earth will be suddenly taken to Heaven. This is a few months before the two witnesses are also taken up to Heaven. (Revelation 11:12) Yeshua also told us that unless those days would be shortened, that no flesh would survive, but for the sake of the elect, those days would be shortened. (Matthew 24:22; Mark 13:20) During the time of the Great Tribulation on earth, when God’s saints are being murdered during the reign of the anti Christ, the Wrath of God will be released from Heaven on the evil ones on earth, to save the remnant of true believers still on earth.
Revelation 11:15, 18 reveals that just after the Wedding ends in Heaven, when the seventh angel has sounded the seventh trumpet, and a one year Honeymoon begins in Heaven, (the time to reward the prophets and saints; 11:18 and Deuteronomy 24:5) that this will also be the time when the Wrath of God will begin to be released on the earth, (Isaiah 34:8 and Isaiah 63:4; Isaiah 61:2), which will continue until Yeshua returns on the Feast Day of Yom Kippur.
The 5th Feast of the LORD, called Zichron Teruah in Leviticus 23:24, and also Yom Teruah in Numbers 29:1, is more commonly know as the Feast of Trumpets. This the real true Mystery Feast of the LORD of all the seven Feasts of the LORD. This Feast happens yearly every fall on the 1st day of the seventh Hebrew month. Zichron Teruah, Strong’s Concordance # 2146 and # 8643, means a memorable day of high joyful sound. What is God really telling us? What is this Mystery Feast of high joyful sound?
This Great Mystery of God will be the Marriage of Yeshua!
The 5th Feast of Zichron Teruah is the Marriage of the Lamb of God, Yeshua with His Bride in Heaven, concluding on Revelation 11:15 with 7th trumpet, as announced by Yeshua in Revelation 10:7.
To see the fullness of this Mystery of Zichron Teruah we must go all the way back to the book of Genesis, and to Mount Moriah, when Abraham obeyed God, by bringing God his only son, Isaac, (Genesis 22:1-18) his son whom he loved to Mount Moriah to offer his son as a burnt offering in obedience to the Command of God. It was there that Isaac asked his father about the lamb for the burnt offering. And it was there on Mount Moriah where the Angel of the LORD (Yeshua) spoke to Abraham, and told him not to slay his son. It was also there that God provided a ram caught in the thicket by both of its horns, as a substitute offering for Isaac’s life, thus saving Isaac with a ram, to create the nation of Israel, because of Abraham’s obedience to obey God’s voice.
Genesis 22:6-8 So Abraham took the wood of the burnt offering and laid it on Isaac his son; and he took the fire in his hand, and a knife, and the two of them went together. But Isaac spoke to Abraham his father and said, “My father!” And he said, “Here I am, my son.” Then he said, “Look, the fire and the wood, but where is the “lamb for a burnt offering?” And Abraham said, “God will provide Himself the Lamb for a burnt offering, My son.”
Because of Abraham’s obedience to God, the Angel (Yeshua) of the LORD then speaks (Genesis 22:16-18), “By Myself I have sworn, says the LORD, because you have done this thing, and have not withheld your son, your only son (whom you love), in blessing I will bless you, and multiplying I will multiply your descendants as the stars of the heaven and as the sand which is on the seashore; and your descendants shall possess the gate of their enemies. In your Seed all the nations of the earth shall be blessed, because you have obeyed My voice.”
Genesis 22:2 is the first mention in the bible of love, and love between a father and a son. Also this was spoken to Abraham and to Isaac by the Angel of the LORD, pre incarnate Yeshua, from Heaven over Mount Moriah, which today is the Temple Mount! (Unspoken is the thought that because of Abraham’s obedience to offer his only son whom he loved, God would offer His only Son.)
I will now point out another mystery which happened there on Mount Moriah, and a mystery which led to Zichron Teruah. It was the ram that was caught by its two horns. Those two horns would represent the two times that God Yeshua would sound His Voice into Creation as a Shofar to call for His Bride to come from the earth; the full consumation of all of Yeshua’s plans for His Bride.
He sounded His Shofar at Mount Sinai, called the First Trump. (Exodus 19) And then when Yeshua returns from Heaven with His armies, both His Wife (His Bride) and all the rest of His Body, He will once again use His Voice as a Shofar, as He gathers all of His believers from Heaven and earth into His Presence in the air with His Shofar call at His return, just before beginning His Millennial Reign. This last Shofar, called the Last Trump in 1st Corinthians 15:52, is also known as the Great Trump in Isaiah 27:13.
There is no Pre or Mid or Post Trib Rapture of Yeshua’s remnant Bride. She will be taken up at the Midnight Hour when Yeshua Roars like a Lion. Any theory about rapture using a shofar Scripture is really about the Lord’s return; and not about rapture!
Revelation 19:6-8 And I heard, as it were, the voice of a great multitude, as the sound of many waters and as the sound of mighty thunderings, saying, “Halleluyah! For the Lord God Omnipotent Reigns! … Let us be glad and Rejoice and give Him Glory, for the Marriage of the Lamb has come, and His wife has made herself ready.” And to her it was granted to be arrayed in fine linen, clean and bright, for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the saints.
Next a Honeymoon for Yeshua and His Wife (His Bride) will also take place in Heaven, which will last one year by earth’s time.
The 10 days from Zichron Teruah until Yom Kippur are called ‘the 10 days of Awe’ by religious Jews. They believe they have 10 days to repent before God for their sins, beginning on the Day of Judgment (Zichron Teruah), concluding the biblical Feast Day of God’s Final Judgment for the earth, the Feast of Yom Kippur.
Yom Kippur: Day of Atonement and Final Judgment (10th of 7th month)
Yom Kippur is the Day of Atonement. But this is the Day of Atonement only for those who have repented from all of their sins, and have accepted Yeshua as their Lord and Messiah, and Savior, as their Atonement. But for so many others it will be their end on the Day of the Lord, the Day of Final Judgment, the Day when Yeshua returns to earth with His Wife (His Bride) and all the rest of His Armies from Heaven, destroying all His enemies on earth.
That Day is also called the Day of Battle! That will be at the end of the Day of the LORD when Yeshua returns from Heaven sounding the Great Trumpet; His last Shofar call is on the Year of Jubilee, just before setting up His Kingdom of Heaven on earth!
On that Day Yeshua destroys all His enemies who are gathered together on earth to battle Him as He returns. That Day is seen in eight different Scriptures all specifically related to the Shofar of God. I will quote one of these Scriptures to show that Yeshua is the Shofar blower, and I will list all other places in the bible where we see Yeshua using His Voice as a Shofar as He returns to earth.
Zechariah 9:14, 15, 16 Then the LORD will be seen over them, and His arrow will go forth like lightning. The Lord GOD (Yeshua) will blow the Shofar, and go with whirlwinds from the south. The LORD of hosts will defend them … will save them …
Here are Scriptures of Yeshua blowing the Shofar as He returns:
See Matthew 24:30, 31; Mark 13:26, 27; Isaiah 27:13; Isaiah 18:3; 1 Corinthians 15:51, 52; 1st Thessalonians 4:15-17; Leviticus 25:8-10 (Year of Jubilee); Revelation 1:10, 11 and Revelation 4:1
Succoth : Feast of Tabernacles (15th to 22nd day of the 7th month)
This 8 day Feast of Succoth is the last of the 7 Feasts of the LORD, and will launch Yeshua’s Millennial Kingdom Reign with His Bride!
The Marriage Supper of the Lamb will be held in Jerusalem on the Feast of Succoth! Revelation 19:9 Then he said to me, “Write, ‘Blessed are those (the guests) who are called to the Marriage Supper of the Lamb!’ ” And he said to me, “These are the true sayings of God.” This Feast of Succoth will be held every year for 1000 years, & also it will be held on Yeshua’s Birthday!
See Zechariah 14:16 Succoth, the Feast of Ingathering. Ex 23:16
Most of Yeshua’s Bridal parables were not about a Wedding but a Wedding Banquet with food and guests. Matthew 22:1-14; Luke 12:36
Isaiah 25:6-10 And in this Mountain the LORD of hosts will make for all people a feast of choice pieces, a feast of wines on the lees, of fat things full of marrow, of well-refined wines on the lees. And He will destroy on this Mountain the surface of the covering cast over all people, and the veil that is spread over all nations. He will swallow up death forever, and the Lord GOD will wipe away tears from all faces; the rebuke of His people He will take away from all the earth; for the LORD has spoken. And it will be said in that Day, “Behold, this is our God; we have waited for Him, and He will Save us! This is the LORD; we have waited for Him; we will be Glad and Rejoice in His Salvation.” For on this Mountain (Mount Zion) the Hand of the LORD will rest …
Revelation 20:4 Then I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for their witness to Yeshua and for the Word of God, who had not worshiped the beast or his image, & had not received his mark on their foreheads or on their hands. And they lived and reigned with the Messiah for a thousand years.
This is the true Great Love Story that Father God weaved for His Son Yeshua within the Mysteries of the 7 Feasts of the LORD, in preparation for the Millennial Reign of Yeshua and His Wife.
