Daniel’sSeven Weeksof years of Daniel 9:25 began with the recapture of Jerusalem’s Western Wall on June 7, 1967, and ended 49 biblical years later exactly on September 23, in 2015, on the Jewish biblical Feast Day of Yom Kippur!

The Words given by God to angel Gabriel in Daniel 9:24-27 carried with them many mysteries regarding both Jerusalem and also the End Times, but also regarding Yeshua’s promised return

These mysteries would not be revealed until now, at the beginning of the End Times, and also now just before Daniel’s last Week, the final 70th Week of 7 years!

Daniel 8:16, 17, 19  And I heard a Man’s voice between the banks of the Ulai, who said, “Gabriel, make this man (Daniel) understand the vision …  Understand, son of man, that the vision refers to the time of the End.” And he said, “Look, I am making known to you what shall happen (to your people) in the latter time of the indignation; for at the appointed time the End shall be.”

Daniel 9:21, Yes, while I was speaking in prayer, the man Gabriel, whom I had seen in the vision at the beginning, being caused to fly swiftly, reached me about the time of the evening offering.

This Scripture in Daniel 9:24-27 that was given to Daniel in the first year of Darius by the angel Gabriel revealed many End Time mysteries in Daniel chapter 9:24-27 …

Seventy Weeks are determined for your people and for your holy city (Jerusalem), to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, to bring in Everlasting Righteousness, and to seal up vision and prophecy, and to anoint the Holy of Holies. 25 Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the Word to restore and to build Jerusalem until (to) the Anointed One (Messiah), the Commander, shall be Seven Weeks and Sixty two Weeks (of 7 years): the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublesome times. 26 And after Sixty two Weeks the Messiah shall be cut off, but not for Himself. And the people of the (evil) prince who is to come shall destroy the city and the Sanctuary; and the end of it shall be with a flood, and till the end of the war desolations are determined. 27 And he shall confirm a covenant with many for one Week. And in the middle of the Week he shall cause the sacrifice and the offering to cease, and on the wing of abominations, he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, which is determined shall be poured out on the desolate.”

The Seven Weeks was the first mystery. The answers were unknown then, since these time periods of the Seven Weeks and the Sixty two Weeks were both related to Jerusalem coming back into Jewish hands, and also to Messiah’s first and second Coming.

After almost 2000 years the Seven Weeks actually begun on June 7, 1967, which would eventually lead up to Messiah’s Second Coming at the end of the 70th Week, the Last Week of seven years of Daniel 9:27.  We are now at the door of that Last Week. The second mystery is when will the Last Week, Daniel 9:27 begin?

Please consider the following information as a very real and serious probability of where we are today in understanding God’s prophetic End Time table …

The following is my own actual personal experience …

In the summer of 2007, on the 19th day of a 21 day mild food fast that both my wife Faith and I were on, the following Scripture regarding the Seven Weeks from Daniel 9:25 came off the page with an understanding in my spirit that these two dates, the Seven Weeks and the Sixty two Weeks mentioned in the Daniel 9 passage are two different events, related to the two different comings of our Lord Yeshua. The paper you are about to read has been written based on that initial experience.

Then one year later in 2008, many blood red moons were discovered on the NASA space records and falling exactly on Jewish biblical feast days, confirming in most amazing ways what I had just been shown by the Holy Spirit in 2007.

I truly believe that this prophesy in Daniel 9:25 of the Seven Weeks of seven years (or 49 biblical years) began on June 7th, 1967, when the Jewish people took back Jerusalem.  49 biblical years later had put that in the middle of the fall feasts in 2015. If that is correct, then we now are right at the door of the 70th Week of Daniel, the last and final seven years on this planet before our Messsiah Yeshua returns.  Daniel’s whole prophesy of the Seventy Weeks from 9:24-27 is specifically related both to the Jewish people, to God’s holy city of Jerusalem, and to the second coming of our Messiah Yeshua.

My calculations of 49 biblical years of 360 days per year from June 7, 1967 = 17,640 days, divided by 365 days/year = 48 civil years + 120 days – 12 leap year days, or June 7, 2015 + 108 days = the 10th of Tishri, on September 23, 2015, on the biblical feast day of Yom Kippur!

This paper is a study of the many reasons why I believe that June 7, 1967 is when Daniel’s Seven Weeks of seven years of Daniel 9:25 actually begun.

Daniel received this Word of God directly from the angel Gabriel who had appeared to Daniel 21 days after he had been praying and fasting and seeking God, understanding that Judah’s 70 years of captivity in Babylon had ended, and that then was the time for their release, and for the captives of Judah to be able to return to Israel.

Daniel had understood from the Scriptures (Jeremiah 25:11, 12 and 2nd Chronicles 36:21) that the 70 years of their captivity was about completed.  But instead of sharing with Daniel about the 70 years, the angel Gabriel was sent by God to speak to Daniel about a much greater picture, the Seventy Weeks of seven years, the time when God’s Messiah would come and set up God’s Kingdom on the earth.

The angel Gabriel was sent by God to give Daniel the Big Picture, a Word for the End Times, of just what would happen to God’s people and to God’s holy city Jerusalem in regard to the Messiah in the End of days. God gave this Word through His angel to tell His prophet Daniel, and God made sure Daniel knew that the visions and dreams he was given pertained to the Messiah and to the End of days. Daniel 7:13, 14; 8:15-19; 10:5-14.

In this prophesy of Daniel 9:25, 26, there were many reasons why God had separated the Seven Weeks and Sixty two Weeks, instead of simply stating Sixty nine Weeks of seven biblical years.

I believe these dates are two totally different time periods in history; where most modern biblical scholars believe the 62 Weeks + 7 Weeks = 69 Weeks, were to be added together for 483 years, and refers only to Messiah’s first coming.  I personally believe that the Seven sevens of Weeks (49 biblical years) relates only to what had been said in verse 24, with God giving us His time table (Seven Weeks) when all these events talked about would finally be fulfilled, just prior to Messiah’s second coming.

God then tells us the Sixty two Weeks is related to Jerusalem and to the Messiah. Then God immediately repeats the Sixty two Weeks and tells us that this number specifically relates to the exact time period when the Messiah would be cut off, prophesying Yeshua’s first coming and His death.

But God had just told us that the Seven Weeks was also related to Jerusalem and to Messiah’s coming. But which coming?

Is it to the Messiah’s first or His second coming?  If it is Messiah’s second coming, than it would also be interrupted by the Last Week of Daniel’s Seventy Week prophesy seen in Daniel 9:27.

Sir Isaac Newton was one who also believed and wrote about the 7 Weeks of Daniel 9:25 related to Messiah’s Second Coming

God gave this Word to His angel Gabriel to give to Daniel,

“ … from the going forth of the Word to restore and to rebuild Jerusalem to Messiah …”  That is God’s Word, but was it also a specific word given to a man, be it king Cyrus, or king Darius, or king Artaxerxes, where we are given a specific starting date for this prophesy?

Let’s look at the Sixty two Weeks of years or 434 years, and see what significant event may have happened. Was it the dedication of the second Temple in 396 B.C.? Ezra 6:14-16

God knew that there would be two different times in history related to the restoring and rebuilding of Jerusalem until Messiah, and therefore these Seven Weeks and Sixty two Weeks could not  both be related to the date of Messiah’s first coming, for God made sure to tell Daniel directly through His angel Gabriel that these visions and dreams and revelations related to the End of days. (Daniel 8:15-17; 9:21-23; and Daniel 10: 5-14)

Let’s follow the biblical scholar’s popular conclusion that the Seven Weeks and Sixty two Weeks are two time periods in direct sequence added together (49 years + 434 years = 483 years), leading up to the Messiah’s first coming only, and His being cut off.  If that is true, why then does the prophesy in verse 26 repeat the Sixty two Weeks, saying specifically the Sixty two Weeks is related to Messiah’s being cut off.  What about the Seven Weeks, where does this fit in? I believe God was telling us in this prophesy about the two separate Comings of the Messiah, and also telling us when they occurred. The key subject in verse 25 is “the restoring and the rebuilding of Jerusalem until Messiah!”  This prophesy given by God is all about the Messiah, and about the two dates of His coming.  God is clearly showing us this by repeating a second time the Sixty two Weeks, separating it from the Seven Weeks, and clearly telling us that the Sixty two Weeks related precisely to the time when Messiah would be cut off (Crucified) in Jerusalem at His first coming. If God was precise about the Sixty two Weeks, then God was also precise about the Seven Weeks related to Messiah’s second coming.

Why is Daniel’s 70th Week, the last Week of Daniel’s 70th Week prophesy not included in the restoration and rebuilding of Jerusalem until Messiah? Because the anti-Christ signs a covenant which lasts (or maybe is cut off at the end of) 7 years. He will stop the restoring and rebuilding of Jerusalem. The anti-Christ’s whole purpose is to finally stop the work and plans of God for Messiah’s second coming. He stops the Jerusalem Temple sacrifices after 3 ½ years, and sets up an abomination to God in the Temple, and declares himself to be God from the Jerusalem Temple.

Also the Orthodox Jews who will build this Temple are in rebellion to God, for they have left the written Word of God for a so called divine Oral Torah. They have denied that Yeshua is God’s true Messiah, and also that His Blood sacrifice was the Atonement for their sins. See Jeremiah 33:18, Zechariah 6:12, 13; They believe they are obeying God’s Word in building their Temple, according to Exodus 25:8, and by doing their animal sacrifices.  However they will be fulfilling bible prophesy. God said that all Aaronic priests who are not sons of Zadok cannot enter into His Presence and minister before Him!  God had said that He will never again honor any blood sacrifices except from sons of Zadok? Ezekiel 44:10-16 and Ezekiel 43:18, 19 But unless these Aaronic priests, whether they be sons of Zadok of not, can accept Yeshua’s Blood Atonement sacrifice for their sins, then they will die in their sins. Read John 8:24

At both Messiah’s first coming and His second coming, it is Satan who tries to cut off the Messiah. First, he thought he had won the victory over Yeshua when He was crucified.  Second, Satan will have his anti-Christ sign a (seven year) covenant with many. The evil prince who is to come during the 70th week of Daniel will stop all Temple sacrifices, declare himself to be god in the Jerusalem Temple, and also try to destroy Jerusalem. Zechariah 14:2 But he will only partially succeed, for when the Lord Yeshua returns from Heaven, He will destroy both the anti-Christ and also his entire kingdom!

When this prophesy of Daniel 9:25 concerning this end time revelation was given to Daniel during the 1st year of Darius, Daniel knew from the writings of Jeremiah that the seventy years of exile in Babylon for his people were finished. Jeremiah 29:10

These Words of God given to Daniel about rebuilding Jerusalem, given in the first and second years of Darius, were given between 530 to 520 B.C., during the reigns of kings Cyrus and king Darius.

However, Daniel’s prophesy of ‘Seven Weeks’ and ‘Sixty two Weeks’, when added together is 483 biblical years. Since kings Cyrus and Darius reigned about 550 years before the Cross, their decrees to Judah concerning rebuilding the Temple of God in Jerusalem were given at a totally different time period than the Sixty nine Weeks (Seven Weeks + Sixty two Weeks) or 483 years, which God gave in Daniel 9:24, 25. Counting backwards 483 biblical years from the Cross, puts that around 450 B.C. That date falls between Ezra’s ministry to Jerusalem which began 458 B.C. (by Artaxerxes letter) and Nehemiah’s ministry, which began in 445 B.C. with Artaxerxes letter to Nehemiah.

Therefore man’s conclusions concerning the ‘Seven Weeks’ added to the ‘Sixty two Weeks’ of Daniel 9:25, 26, for 483 years, is at best only a guess … trying to make all these Weeks of years fit into some supposed king’s decree.

What all that means is that June 7, 1967 is a real probality as being the correct answer and meaning for the Seven Weeks’ of years of Daniel 9:25.  And if it is the correct answer of Daniel 9: 25 of God’s meaning for the Seven Sevens, then those Seven Weeks ended on September 23rd, Yom Kippur, in 2015.

So when will Daniel’s 70th Week begin, Daniel’s last Week, the last seven years on the earth before our Lord Yeshua returns?

I believe that Daniel’s 70th Week will begin in the fall this year of 2022!

More information will be revealed on this in Part Two, of this two part study on …
