JJoseph Magen
Founding Editor

Joseph is the founder of Kehila News Israel (KNI).  He immigrated to Israel from the United States in 2001. He has worked as an industrial engineer, venture capital portfolio manager, and software engineer. Joseph graduated from Virginia Tech with an engineering degree (1996) and from Bar Ilan University with an MBA degree (2004). He is married to Rotem, and they have three young children.

YYonatan Allon

Yonatan joined KNI as the Managing Editor in July 2015. He immigrated to Israel from the United States in 2007. He previously served on the team of Ohalei Rachamim (Tents of Mercy), a network of five Messianic Congregations in northern Israel, and as a manager at Justice for Generations, a non-profit which visits and cares for Holocaust survivors across Israel. Yonatan graduated from Washington University in St. Louis with a B.A. degree (2002) in History and Russian Studies and a M.A. degree (2006) in Jewish Studies, and from The Interdisciplinary Center Herzliya with a M.A. degree (2016) in Organizational Development and Behavior. Yonatan lives with his wife and two young girls north of Haifa. 

Staff Writers – KNI has a small but growing staff of local Israeli Messianic journalists that cover Israeli News and Messianic Community News.

Community Writers – There are over 100 writers from the Messianic community in Israel that have contributed articles and/or videos to KNI.

Translators – KNI uses the services of local Israeli Messianic believers to translate content to Hebrew and Russian. We hope to add additional languages in the future.

Support Staff – KNI has a small and dedicated behind-the-scenes staff that serves in the areas of administration, graphic design, web development, social media, video editing, proofreading, email support, and marketing.
