The Caspari Center presents “Taboo” Forums

The Caspari Center for Biblical and Jewish Studies is launching a new series of forum style lectures on “taboo” topics.

The first forum is presented in partnership with the Macheseh Association and will discuss the topic of domestic violence. Macheseh is a non profit organization that assists believing women in Israel who are dealing with domestic violence. A 2018 report from i24News stated that there are “approximately 200,000 battered women in Israel,”  and that, “an average of 70 criminal domestic violence complaints are filed every day ” Clearly this is a problem in Israel, and Macheseh has shown it is a problem the believing community is not immune to.  All are invited to come learn and be equipped on how to deal with domestic violence in their community.

The forum will be in English and held at 19:00 on November 26 at 55 Haneviim St in Jerusalem.
