I believe I am correct in saying that the subject of spiritual warfare is one that most people in the Body of Messiah do not want to get involved with. I can understand that attitude as any kind of warfare is usually a messy and bloody business. But when there is an enemy out there who wants to do you, your family or your nation harm, and negotiations are not practical, you have only 2 options – surrender to the enemy or fight to take the victory.
We find ourselves living in a time of rapidly increasing evil around the world. What is happening in the United States as a result of the criminally insane policies of the Biden government is very concerning to watch. The Democrats have undone all the good that the Trump administration achieved and the USA is once again spiraling downhill at an alarming speed. The USA used to be the leader and protector of the so called “Free World” but now the USA leads the world in unrighteousness and wickedness. Joe Biden and most of the Democrats are going the extra mile to oppose God and destroy every good thing that He has given us. America is not the only once Christian western nation going in this direction, but the USA is at the forefront. Here are just a few examples of the accelerating growth of wickedness and evil in the USA:
The controversy over abortion is deepening, with the pro-abortion people becoming even more hard-hearted and murderous. I hear this week of babies being allowed to be born, and then their kidneys are cut out of them while they are still alive. Apparently they need to take the organs from live bodies to be suitable for their evil purposes. I find that almost impossible believe as I cannot comprehend how supposedly educated and civilized people can be so barbaric. Here is the source article if you want to read it – not easy reading.
Anton Levey, the high priest of Satanism in the USA recently released a statement declaring his support for Halloween because he said that he is so happy that millions of Christians worship Satan at least on one night of the year. Of course the spiritually unaware Christians do not see that they are doing that, but I believe it is true, and the enemy knows it.
Last week the presenters of Israel Channel 12 breakfast show were very happy to report that the updated 2021 comic strip hero Superman is bi-sexual and has a nice boyfriend.
There was also the story of a US schoolgirl who was sexually assaulted in the girls bathrooms by a young man wearing a dress. Parents who are protesting the crazy “Woke” regulations and studies that are replacing regular education are being labelled as ‘domestic terrorists’. Hollywood is frantically brainwashing, or should I say “brain-dirtying” audiences of their movies and television programs by including sexual immorality, same-sex relationships, bankrupt family morals and violence in almost every movie and TV program produced in their studios.
Then there is the family-splitting, congregation-splitting, country-splitting controversy over the vaccines, and where COVID-19 really originated and who and what is behind the world wide drive to “get a shot in every arm.” I am still not 100% sure of the answers to the questions we all have in regards to COVID-19 and the short and long term safety of the mRNA vaccines, but I have to say in light of the information I have studied, I smell a huge rat. It is looking like we will be coerced into being vaccinated with possibly dangerous substances every 6 month, and who knows what that will do to our God-given immune system?
In a number of countries euthanasia is being promoted and becoming more acceptable. Along with abortion, this is deceived mankind taking the place of God, and wanting to have the authority to decide who lives and who dies.
Where will it all end? As a grandfather of 4 beautiful girls I hate to think of the evil things that they will need to contend with as they get older, if the Lord tarries. If we believe that we are already in the times of Matthew chapter 24 and Luke 21 coming to pass, we need to realise that in those passages things do not get better, they get worse until the Messiah returns to take control of the Earth.
I have given these few examples as a further wake up call to make sure as many people as possible are aware of what the Devil has been doing in our midst over the last 18 months, and what he is planning for the days ahead. This is a call to war – a call to Intercession and Spiritual Warfare. We need to go to war for ourselves, our family and friends, and our nation. As well as the warning in Ephesians 6:12, there is also a list of how we prepare to wage war in verses 13-18. And do not forget to cover yourself and your family with the Blood of Yeshua.
Joshua 1:9 Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”
