The Greatest Miracle of all was Yeshua’s Conception in the womb of virgin Miriam during the Christmas season!
There are 7 Feasts of the LORD in Leviticus 23 besides the weekly Shabbat. On three of these seven Feasts of the LORD, Passover, Shavuot (Pentecost), & Succoth (Feast of Tabernacles) all the Jewish men were commanded by God to come up yearly to Jerusalem, and to bring an offering to the God of Israel. Of these three Feasts, the two most important Feasts of the LORD were Passover and Succoth. These two Feasts of the LORD, Passover and Succoth, will again be held during the 1000 year Millennial Kingdom Reign of King – High Priest Yeshua. Zechariah 14:16, and Ezekiel 45:21 and 25.
Yeshua died on Passover. But the greatest of all these 7 Feasts of the LORD is Succoth. There is much biblical evidence that now clearly proves that Yeshua was truly born on Succoth!
I have written two books on this subject of Yeshua’s true birthday being the Feast of Succoth. One is called, ‘Yeshua’s True Birthday on Succoth!’ This was published in October, 2018.
And the other book is called, ‘Yeshua’s True Birthday, 20 Points of Evidence that Yeshua was born on Succoth’, published August, 2018. These two books are free to download from my website: www.FeedMySheepJerusalem.com
Today most believers in Yeshua know that Yeshua was not born on Christmas day, December 25th. For Yeshua’s true birthday is on Succoth, the Feast of Tabernacles.
John 1:14 And the Word was made flesh, and tabernacled among us, and we beheld His Glory, the Glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of Grace and Truth.
However this paper is written primarily regarding the Greatest Miracle of all, that happened at our Lord Yeshua’s Conception, nine months prior to His birthday. Was Yeshua’s Conception prophesied in the Scriptures? Was this also found in the Scriptures to happen nine months prior to Yeshua birth on Succoth? And was this also during what is known as the Chanukkah and Christmas time of year? Is this when all those most special events took place in Israel, which were recorded in the New Covenant of the Bible, in the first chapter of the book of Luke?
Let’s read the Scriptures and find out …
Luke 1:11-17 Then an angel of the Lord appeared to him, standing on the right side of the Altar of Incense. And when Zechariah saw him, he was troubled, and fear fell upon him. But the angel Gabriel said to him, “Do not be afraid, Zechariah, for your prayer is heard; and your wife Elisheva will bear you a son, and you shall call his name Yochanan (John). And you shall have joy and gladness; and many will rejoice at his birth. For he will be great in the sight of the Lord, and shall drink neither wine nor strong drink. He will also be filled with the Holy Spirit, even from his mother’s womb. And he will turn many of the children of Israel to the Lord their God. He will also go before Him in the spirit and power of Elijahu, ‘to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children,’ and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just, to make ready a people prepared for the Lord.”
Luke 1:24-38 Now after those days his wife Elisheva conceived; and she hid herself five months… Now in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent by God to a city of Galilee named Nazareth, to a virgin betrothed to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David. The virgin’s name was Miriam. And having come in, the angel said to her, “Rejoice, highly favored one, the Lord is with you. Blessed are you among women!” And when she saw him, she was troubled at his saying, and considered what manner of greeting this was. Then the angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Miriam, for you have found favor with God. And, behold, you will conceive in your womb, and bring forth a Son, and shall call His name Yeshua (Salvation)! He shall be Great, and will be called the Son of the Highest; and the LORD God will give Him the Throne of His father David. And He will Reign over the House of Jacob forever; and of His Kingdom there will be no end.” (Also see Isaiah 9:7)
Then Miriam said to the angel, “How can this be, since I do not know a man?” And the angel answered and said to her, “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the Power of the Highest will overshadow you. Therefore, also that Holy One who is to be born will be called the Son of God!
Now indeed, Elisheva (of Aaron) your relative [the Greek word for ‘relative’ meant blood relative; and in Hebrew this word is ‘karov,’ which means close relative], has also conceived a son in her old age; and this is now the sixth month for her who was called barren. For with God nothing will be impossible!”
Then Miriam said, “Behold the maid servant of the Lord! Let it be to me according to your word.” And the angel departed from her.
Luke 1:39-44 Now Miriam arose in those days and went into the hill country with haste, to a city of Judah. And entered into the house of (the Aaronic priest) Zechariah and greeted Elisheva (of Aaron). And it happened, when Elisheva heard the greeting of Miriam, that the babe leaped in her womb; and Elisheva was filled with the Holy Spirit. And she spoke out with a loud voice and said, “Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the Fruit of your womb. And why is this granted to me, that the mother of my Lord should come to me? For, indeed, as soon as the voice of your greeting sounded in my ears, the babe leaped in my womb for joy.”
Yes, indeed, Miriam was ‘highly favored’, and also ‘blessed’ among women! For it had been some 4000 years prior when God had first spoken the prophesy to Eve about her special Seed, who would one day destroy the serpent, Satan. (Genesis 3:15)
Miriam’s contribution to that Seed would be the physical body of the only begotten Son of God, Heaven’s King and Heaven’s great High Priest, Melchi Zedek, (my King of Righteousness) who would be coming to earth, which was fulfilled on that day with the Conception of God in the young Jewish virgin Miriam.
Hebrews 10:5 “… but a body You have prepared for Me.” This comes from the Septuagint in Psalm 40:6. For that Seed from Eve would have traveled for about 2000 years going through two Hebrew tribes and two Hebrew family lines, through the line of kings from king David and also through the line of the high priests from high priest Yehoshua of high priest Zadok, coming from high priest Eleazar, from Elisheva and high priest Aaron.
For the King of Heaven and the High Priest of Heaven would be born fulfilling the family lines of the earthly kings from David, and also the earthly high priests from Zadok, through Yeshua’s virgin mother Miriam. See Jeremiah 33: 17, 18, 24; Zechariah 3:1, 8; Zechariah 6:11-13. Perhaps there are 20 Scriptural proofs of this great Truth about Yeshua born from the family of Zadok.
Yes, Elisheva’s baby Yochanan had been filled with the Holy Spirit and had leaped for joy in the womb of his mother when Miriam greeted Elisheva (fulfilling the prophesy given to priest Zechariah in Luke 1:15 (who was also the mystery Aaronic Zadokite high priest of Israel) by the angel Gabriel.
For Yeshua the Son of God, had come into the world during that special winter time at Conception, and was fully Alive, living safely with God, the Holy Spirit, within the womb of His virgin mother Miriam. For the Human Life of Yeshua, the Son of God and Son of Man, the Word made flesh, had begun at Conception.
Had Yeshua’s Conception been prophesied anywhere in the Torah or Tankah? Was this found in the Old Covenant?
Yes!
Where can this be found in the Old Covenant Scriptures, and what does it say? It is found in a few places. Let’s read them …
“Therefore the LORD Himself will give you a Sign. Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a Son, and shall call His name Immanu El (God is with us).” Isaiah 7:14
Could God also have revealed to us in His Word exactly what time of year when this great miracle of Yeshua’s Conception would take place? Yes! And could God also have revealed to us in His Word what specific month, and even what specific day of the year that this Miracle would happen?
Yes!
God had foretold us all these things in His Word. This can be found in the book of Haggai, in chapter 2 and in versus 18 and 19.
And this prophesy had been given around 520 B.C.
Haggai 2:18, “Consider now from this day and upward, from the four and twentieth day of the ninth month, [the 24th day of the ninth Hebrew month, which is called Kislev. This day generally falls in December], even from the day that the Foundation of the LORD’s Temple was laid, consider it: 2:19 … from this day I will bless you!”
I believe from the Scriptures that that was the actual day of our Lord’s Conception! That day occurred nine months before Succoth, Yeshua’s true Birthday.
The 24th day of the ninth Hebrew month is the 24th of Kislev. Also the feast of Chanukkah which began in 164 B.C., begins on the 25th of Kislev, and this feast lasts for eight days.
In the year 2005, the 24th of Kislev fell on Christmas day, on December 25th. And in the year 2016, the 24th of Kislev fell on December 24th. In 2019, the 24th of Kislev fell on December 22nd. And this year, 2022, the 24th of Kislev was December 18th.
Isaiah 28:16 Thus says the Lord GOD, “Behold, I lay in Zion a Stone (Yeshua) for a foundation, a tried Stone, a precious Cornerstone, a sure foundation; whoever believes will not act hastily.”
Can we also find any other possible Bible evidence about this Truth of Yeshua’s Conception being revealed by Yeshua Himself in any of the Gospel’s?
Yes. Yeshua spoke about His Conception during Chanukkah!
Let’s read about this in the book of John 10:22-38
John 10:22 It was the Feast of (Temple) Dedication (Chanukkah, which begins on Kislev 25) in Jerusalem, and it was winter. 10:23 And Yeshua walked in the temple, in Solomon’s porch. 10:24 Then the Jews surrounded Him and said to Him, “How long do You keep us in doubt? If You are the Messiah, tell us plainly.” 10:25 Yeshua answered them, “I told you, and you do not believe. The works that I do in My Father’s name, they bear witness of Me. 10:26 But you do not believe, because you are not of My sheep, as I said to you. 10:27 My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me. 10:28 And I give them Eternal Life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand. 10:29 My Father, who has given them to Me, is Greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of My Father’s hand. 10:30 I and My Father are One!” 10:31 Then the Jews took up stones again to stone Him. 10:32 Yeshua answered them, “Many good works I have shown you from My Father.
For which of those works do you stone Me?” 10:33 The Jews answered Him, saying, “For a good work we do not stone You, but for blasphemy, and because You, being a Man, make Yourself God.” 10:34 Yeshua answered them, “Is it not written in your Torah, ‘I said, “You are gods?” ’ (quoting from Psalm 82:6) 10:35 If He called them gods, to whom the Word of God came (and the Scripture cannot be broken), 10:36, do you say of Him whom the Father sanctified and sent into the world, ‘You are blaspheming,’ because I said, ‘I Am the Son of God’? 10:37
If I do not do the works of My Father, do not believe Me; 10:38 but if I do, though you do not believe Me, believe the Works, that you may know and believe that My Father is in Me, and I in Him.”
(Read John 16:27 and 28 and John 17:18)
Yeshua was telling them during Chanukkah, on that eight day feast, perhaps on the first day of that feast, on the 25th of Kislev, that His Father had sent Him into the world. He spoke this just after Kislev 24, the day of His Conception. Yeshua was sent into the world by His Father at His Conception, which was nine months before His birth on Succoth.
Yeshua’s Conception in the virgin Miriam was the Foundation of the LORD’s Temple being laid … which happened in the winter on the 24th of Kislev.
During Chanukkah was one of three times in the Gospel’s when Yeshua spoke about His Father sending Him into the world.
The other two times when He spoke about His Father sending Him into the world would happen on the day of His death, on Passover.
Why? Because Yeshua was sent into the world to die for our sins, to open up ‘the Way,’ for us to be able to come Home to our true Father Almighty God in Heaven.
These two other times are both found in the book of John.
John 16:27 “… for My Father Himself loves you, because you have loved Me, and have believed that I came forth from God. 16:28 I came forth from My Father and have come into the world. Again, I leave the world and go to My Father.”
John 17:14 “I have given them Your Word; and the world has hated them because they are not of the world, just as I am not of the world. 17:15 I do not pray that You should take them out of the world, but that You should keep them from the evil one. 17:16 They are not of the world, just as I am not of the world. 17:17 Sanctify them by Your Truth. Your Word is Truth! 17:18 As You sent Me into the world, I also have sent them into the world. 17:19 And for their sakes I sanctify Myself, that they also may be sanctified by the Truth.”
John 20:17 Jesus said to her, “ … go to My brethren and say to them, ‘I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My God and your God.’ ”
By the way, it is very important to know that the feast of Chanukkah could never have been Yeshua’s Conception day. Why?
Chanukkah (165 B.C.) was when the Maccabees took back the Jerusalem Temple from Israel’s Greek enemies, and also cleaned the Temple. But recorded in Jewish history, but not mentioned in the bible, Chanukkah was also the time when the Maccabees, as an Aaronic priest family took over the Jerusalem Temple.
But they also kicked out God’s true appointed priests, the Zadokite high priest and also all the other Zadokite Aaronic priests from the Jerusalem Temple, thus corrupting all the future Jerusalem Temple animal blood sacrifices to be done before God.
(Also Messiah was prophesied to be born of the Zadokite family.)
This was all in violation of God’s Word given in Ezekiel 44:15, 16 and in Ezekiel 43:18, 19 which had been given only to the sons of the Zadokite priesthood.
Ezekiel 44:15 “But the priests, the Levites, the sons of Zadok, who kept charge of My Sanctuary when the children of Israel went astray from Me, they shall come near Me to minister to Me; and they shall stand before Me to offer to Me the fat and the blood,” says the Lord GOD. 44:16 “They shall enter My Sanctuary, and they shall come near My table to minister to Me, and they shall keep My charge.”
Both Ezekiel 43:18, 19 and Ezekiel 44:15, 16, says that only a son from the family of high priest Zadok would be allowed to do a blood sacrifice before God which God would honor.
Here are the other 4 places where this Priesthood authority was given only to the Zadokite priests … Ezekiel 40:46; Ezekiel 42:13; Ezekiel 45:4; and Ezekiel 48:10, 11.
This corruption of the Aaronic priesthood by the Maccabees of all the Jerusalem Temple animal blood sacrifices would then continue until the Jerusalem Temple was destroyed in 70 A.D.
The Maccabees had absolutely no authority from God to do what they did to the Zadokite high priest and the other Zadokite priests. In fact read Ezekiel 44:6-14, esp verses 10 – 14, to see what God had specifically told all the other Aaronic priest families concerning never again coming into God’s presence, and also never again doing an animal blood sacrifices before God; that this should never again happen or be honored by the God of Israel.
Today these versus are so very important, for they relate directly to what is about to happen again here in Jerusalem when the Aaronic priesthood soon takes back the Temple Mount area from the Muslims on Mount Zion hill, and they begin rebuilding there temple on Mount Moriah. For then, after 2000 years, they will again begin doing their animal sacrifices to the God of Israel, and this will once again be in violation of the Word of God! How do we know? 2000 years ago when the Jerusalem Temple was destroyed, so were all the records of the Aaronic priests destroyed. So today nobody really knows who is from the Zadokite family.
Also it had been prophesied in many places in the Tanakh, that the Messiah would be born from the two families of the virgin, from king David’s family from Miriam’s father of the tribe of Judah and also from high priest Zadok’s family from Miriam’s mother.
Also see Zechariah 3:1, 8; and Zechariah 6:11-13;
But in the days of the Maccabees, the whole Zadokite Aaronic high priest family had been kicked out from the Jerusalem Temple, forced to go into hiding, possibly out to Kumran by the Dead Sea.
Then in the opening scene of the whole New Covenant, some 165 years later, God proved that priest Zechariah, the future father of Yochanan, had to be the real mystery Zadokite high priest when God sent angel Gabriel to speak to him while he was ministering before God at the Altar of Incense in the Jerusalem Temple. (Luke 1:8-20)
How can we know for certain that priest Zechariah was really a son from the Zadokite high priest family? And how can we also know that priest Zechariah was the real mystery Zadokite high priest of Israel?
King Herod had appointed two high priests for the Jerusalem Temple, Annas and Caiaphas. (Luke 3:2) These two men may have been from an Aaronic priest family, but they were not from the Zadokite family, the only Aaronic priest family that God said He would allow to serve before God as an Aaronic high priest. That high priest’s position had been reserved by God for only the sons of Zadok ever since king David’s time. Study the history of the Zadokite priesthood.
When the angel Gabriel was sent by God to speak to Zechariah in the Temple, this proved first that priest Zechariah was a son from the Zadokite family, the only Aaronic priest family which God said He would allow to minister before Him in the Temple. (Ezekiel 44: 18, 19)
Also the Altar of Incense was the place given to Aaron, the first Aaronic high priest, and also to his future generations of sons who would serve God as Aaronic high priests at the Altar of Incense. See Exodus 30:1, 7; This was the place in the Jerusalem Temple where the angel Gabriel had appeared to priest Zechariah, the place which God had given only to the Aaronic high priest.
Also, why did God open the New Covenant with the first scene and also the first words being about the Aaronic Priesthood? And what did this Aaronic priest Zechariah and his wife Elisheva of the daughters of Aaron, who was both old and could not have children, have to do with Miriam and her son Yeshua?
What were the mystery relationships between virgin Miriam of Judah and her close blood relative (‘karov’ in Hebrew) Elisheva of Aaron? Why was this young Jewish virgin woman Miriam, pregnant with God’s baby Yeshua, then directed by God through God’s angel Gabriel to spend her first three months with this old Aaronic priest couple, Zechariah and his wife Elisheva of Aaron? Who really were they, as Miriam’s blood kin relatives?
What major role was their yet unborn son Yochanan going to play in the life of Yeshua?
Also why did the angel Gabriel tell priest Zechariah that his unborn son had to be called Yochanan? What was so important about the name Yochanan? Also what would be Yochanan’s true relationship to his cousin Yeshua, Miriam’s newly conceived Son? What really happened out there that day at the Jordan River, when Yochanan witnessed Yeshua’s baptism?
What were all these bible mysteries really all about?
The answers to all these questions, and to so many other bible mysteries found in the Gospels reveal so many amazing revelations which God has kept hidden related to Yeshua, and to His mystery blood family until now, for End Times, and specifically for helping to break the religious stronghold off of God’s Jewish people, for God’s Salvation to come to them.
For me personally the greatest mystery of all is the mystery about the whole true identity of our Lord Yeshua coming from the Zadokite high priest family of Aaron, which God first began showing me almost 30 years ago, in 1993, and which He had me first writing about and then teaching about in 2011.
I have written six books and dozens of papers on this mystery of Yeshua coming from the high priest family of Zadok of Aaron. My most recent complete book had been published in 2018, and was called, ‘Yeshua, my King of Righteousness … Heaven’s King and Great High Priest, from the ‘Seed’ of King David and High Priest Zadok of Aaron.’ However I have just written another newer small book, soon to be published again this month, called, ‘The Greatest of all Bible Mysteries is King Priest Yeshua’s full earthly identity, and the great Mystery of His Blood Sacrifice!’
All of my books are all free to download from my website … www.FeedMySheepJerusalem.com
In conclusion, I will leave you with one true bible riddle, and also its answer … What was the only time in Jewish history where three real Jewish high priests of God were all in the same room and at the same time?
It was during the time when Miriam came to visit her relatives Elisheva and priest Zechariah. Priest Zechariah was the true mystery Zadokite high priest of Israel. In Elisheva’s womb was Yochanan, the next true mystery Zadokite high priest of Israel. And in the womb of Miriam was Yeshua, the Eternal King and High Priest of Heaven, the physical fulfillment of the family of kings from king David, and also the physical fulfillment of the family of Aaronic high priests, from high priest Zadok.
Yeshua was never an Aaronic priest, simply because Yeshua had no earthly biological father. His Father is the Almighty God!
But Yeshua is always from the two families of His mother Miriam.
Before concluding this special teaching, I want to comment on one more important proof concerning Yeshua being born on Succoth. There is one other major teaching about Yeshua’s birthday by another leading Messianic pastor who believes that Yeshua, instead of being born on Succoth was born on the first day of the first Hebrew biblical month of Nisan (or Abib), with the 14th day of that month being Passover.
If that teaching was correct, then because Yochanan was six months older that Yeshua, Yochanan began ministering six months before Yeshua, (who was born on Nisan 1). That would mean that Yochanan would have begun ministering during the fall season.
But here’s the big problem with that other theory …
Mark 1:5 Then all the land of Judea, and those from Jerusalem, went out to him (Yochanan) and were all baptized by him in the Jordan River, confessing their sins.
Since that would have happened from fall to early spring time in Israel, October to April, it would not have been possible, for that would be during Israeli coldest winter months. This point proves that the only other major theory of when Yeshua was born cannot be correct.
But there is also another problem with that theory. God had told us in Luke 1:17, that Yochanan would be coming in the spirit and power of Eliyahu. In Jewish tradition Eliyahu always is invited as the special guest each year at the Passover seder, the time when Yochanan first began his earthly ministry.
Why is Christmas season the most wonderful time of the year?
Because this is the time of year of the Greatest Miracle of all, when God’s Love came into the earth at the divine Conception of Yeshua, God’s only begotten Son, in the womb of the young Jewish virgin Miriam!
That’s when Yeshua, the Son of God and the Son of Man came into the earth! That’s when Yeshua was Conceived in the womb of His beloved mother Miriam!
