The New Covenant from God with its Melchi Zedek Priesthood has total Power for Messianic Judaism over Orthodox Rabbinical Judaism and the Aaronic Priesthood.
The Aaronic Priesthood, along with the people of Israel, repeated failed to keep God’s Mosaic Covenant, by continually breaking the Torah and the Tanakh, the written Word of God. Therefore God of Israel replaced the Mosaic Covenant with His New Covenant and its Melchi Zedek Priesthood from Heaven.
The oral Torah of Orthodox Rabbinical Judaism is not divine and never given by God to Moses at Mount Sinai or anywhere else. This can be proven in 12 places in the written Scriptures of Moses, where God explicitly forbade ever using any teaching other than the written Words of God found in the Book of the Torah of Moses. Orthodox Rabbinical Judaism’s so called divine oral Torah is a total deception. Orthodox Jews have taught for almost 2000 years that this was given by God to Moses. These teachings are from rabbis, scribes and bible teachers, along with the traditions of men handed down for centuries, first compiled by Rabbi Judah Hanasi in late 200 A.D., in the Talmud and Mishna. Since these teachings are preferred above the written Word of God, the oral Torah has brought about very great idolatry both in Orthodox Rabbinical Judaism and also to most of the Jewish people in Israel and throughout the whole world. This has contributed to Israel’s greatest sin, that of denying Yeshua, the God of Israel, as Israel’s true Messiah, and Savior, and Lord!
The New Covenant which replaced the Mosaic Covenant was created by God’s grace and mercy for Israel, after Israel had repeatedly broken God’s written Torah in the Mosaic Covenant. The New Covenant began after being ratified by the physical death of Yeshua, and His pouring out of His sinless Blood as the only begotten Son for the sins of humanity. His crucifixion was on a cross in Jerusalem almost 2000 years ago. God’s Torah was then placed inside the minds and also written on the hearts of all true believers in Yeshua by the Holy Spirit of the Living God. Our iniquities were forgiven and our sins were remembered no more. This New Covenant was the sovereign work of the God of Israel.
1 Kings 18:21 And Eliyahu came to all the people, and said, “How long will you falter between two opinions? If the LORD is God (if the LORD’s written holy Word is true, then obey it), follow Him; but if Baal (if the oral Torah is truly from God and given by God to Moses, then follow and obey it), follow him.”
But the oral Torah is not God’s Word!
Deuteronomy 17:2 “If there is found among you, within any of your gates which the LORD your God gives you, a man or a woman who has been wicked in the sight of the LORD your God, in transgressing His covenant, 17:3 who has gone and served other gods and worshiped them, (as the non divine oral Torah)… 17:4 and it is told you, and you hear of it, then you shall inquire diligently. And if it is indeed true and certain that such an abomination has been committed in Israel, 17:5 then you shall bring out to your gates that man or woman who has committed that wicked thing, and shall stone to death that man or woman with stones. 17:6 Whoever is deserving of death shall be put to death on the testimony of two or three witnesses; he shall not be put to death on the testimony of one witness. 17:7 The hands of the witnesses shall be the first against him to put him to death, and afterward the hands of all the people. So you shall put away the evil from among you. 17:8 If a matter arises which is too hard for you to judge, between degrees of guilt for bloodshed, between one judgment or another, or between one punishment or another, matters of controversy within your gates, then you shall arise and go up to the place which the LORD your God chooses. 17:9 And you shall come to the priests, the Levites, and to the judge there in those days, and inquire of them; they shall pronounce upon you the sentence of judgment. 17:10 You shall do according to the sentence which they pronounce upon you in that place which the LORD chooses. And you shall be careful to do according to all that they order you. 17:11 According to the sentence of the law in which they instruct you, according to the judgment which they tell you, you shall do; you shall not turn aside to the right hand or to the left from the sentence which they pronounce upon you.17:12 Now the man who acts presumptuously and will not heed the priest who stands to minister there before the LORD your God, or the judge, that man shall die. So you shall put away the evil from Israel. 17:13 And all the people shall hear and fear, and no longer act presumptuously.
But much later God totally changed the authority He had given to the Aaronic priests and to the judge, recorded in Ezekiel 40-48 :
Ezekiel 44:15 “But the priests, the Levites, the sons of Zadok, who kept charge of My sanctuary when the children of Israel went astray from Me, they shall come near Me to minister to Me; and they shall stand before Me to offer to Me the fat and the blood,”says the Lord GOD. 44:16 “They shall enter My Sanctuary, and they shall come near My table to minister to Me, and they shall keep My charge.” 44:24 “In controversy they shall stand as (My) judges, and judge it according to My judgments. They shall keep My Torah and My statutes in all My appointed meetings, and they shall hallow My Sabbaths.”
In Ezekiel 40-48, all the other Aaronic priest families were sent away from God’s presence forever, and told that they could only minister to the people, but never again be able to minister to God, except for one priest family, the sons of high priest Zadok.
There are many mysteries concerning the Zadokite Priesthood. One is that this is the family of Yeshua through His mother Miriam’s mother. This Truth of Yeshua is found in 15 places in Scripture. In fact Yeshua is also the physical fulfillment of the Zadokite high priest family in the flesh. What has not been commonly taught is what is contained in Yeshua’s Blood sacrifice shed for humanity;
It contains the blood of the Zadokite high priest family. Jer 33:18 When the Jerusalem Temple was destroyed in 70 A.D., so were all the records of the Aaronic priesthood; therefore today nobody knows for sure who is from this Zadokite high priest family. How about the blood sacrifices of those animals that the Aaronic priests plan to offer before God after they build their temple on Mount Zion hill, will God honor any of those blood sacrifices? No! For they are not done by Aaronic priests who are sons of Zadok.
Another great mystery about the Blood of Yeshua is that it is found in the spirit of every true ‘born again’ believer. Therefore has the authority given to the the Zadokite priests in Ezekiel 44:24, who were called by God to be His judges, been given to Yeshua’s true Melchi Zedek believing priests? I believe so! (Hebrews 9:14)
Today’s Messianic Jewish Body of believers are practicing the the truest form of biblical Judaism, which is taken 100% from the Scriptures of the Torah, the Tanakh, and the Brit HaDashah, in regards to worshipping Father God and Yeshua, God’s true Son, & our Messiah and Savior, King and Great High Priest of Heaven!
Luke 10:19 “Behold, I (Yeshua) give you (My believers) the Authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.”
John 5:26 “For as My Father has Life in Himself, so He has granted His Son to have Life in Himself, 5:27 and has given Him Authority to execute Judgment…, because He is the Son of Man.”
John 17:1 Yeshua spoke these words, lifted up His eyes to Heaven, and said, “Father, the hour has come. Glorify Your Son, that Your Son may also Glorify You. 17:2 As You have given Him Authority over all flesh, that He should give Eternal Life to as many as You have given Him.”
Matthew 28:18 And Yeshua came and spoke to them, saying, “All Authority has been given to Me in Heaven and on earth. 28:19 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 28:20 teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the Age.”
Luke 20:1 Now it happened on one of those days, as He taught the people in the Temple and preached the gospel, that the chief priests and the scribes, together with the elders, confronted Him 20:2 and spoke to Him, saying, “Tell us, by what authority are You doing these things? Or who is he who gave You this authority?” 20:3 But He answered and said to them, “I also will ask you one thing, and answer Me, 20:4 the baptism of Yochanan, was it from Heaven or from men?” 20:8 And Yeshua said to them, “Neither will I tell you by what Authority I do these things.”
Daniel 7:13 “I was watching in the night visions, and behold, One like the Son of Man, coming with the clouds of heaven! He came to the Ancient of Days, and they brought Him near before Him. 7:14 Then to Him was given Dominion and Glory and a Kingdom, that all peoples, nations, and languages should serve Him. His Dominion is an Everlasting Dominion, which shall not pass away, and His Kingdom one which shall not be destroyed.”
The temple that the Orthodox Jews will soon build on Mount Zion hill is not the same Temple and not in the same location as the Temple that Yeshua will build when He returns to earth from Heaven. This is very clear in Isaiah 2:3, 4, repeated in Micah 4:1. Isaiah 2:2 Now it shall come to pass in the latter days that the mountain of the LORD’s House shall be established on the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills.
For today the mountains all around where the Temple Mount and the Muslim Dome of the Rock are located are much higher.
Yeshua’s Temple has been prophesied in Zechariah 6:12, 13.
Zechariah 6:12 Then speak to him (Yehoshua, high priest, son of Jeho-Zadok), saying, ‘Thus says the LORD of hosts, saying, “Behold, the Man whose name is Tzemach (the Branch)! From His place He shall branch out, and He shall build the Temple of the LORD; 6:13 Yes, He shall build the Temple of the LORD. He shall bear the Glory, and shall sit and rule on His Throne; so He shall be a Priest on His Throne, and the counsel of peace shall be between them both (between Yeshua as our King and Priest).” ’
Hebrews 7:11 Therefore, if perfection were through the Levitical priesthood (for under it the people received the Torah), what further need was there that another Priest should rise according to the order of Melchizedek, and not be called according to the order of Aaron? 7:12 For the priesthood being changed, of necessity there is also a change of the Torah. 7:15 And it is yet far more evident if, in the likeness of Melchi Zedek, there arises another Priest 7:16 who has come, not according to the law of a fleshly commandment, but according to the power of an Endless Life. 7:17 For He testifies, “You are a Priest forever according to the order of Melchi Zedek.” 7:18 For on the one hand there is an annulling of the former commandment because of its weakness and unprofitableness, 7:19 for the Torah made nothing perfect; on the other hand, there is the bringing in of a better hope, through which we draw near to God. 7:20 And inasmuch as He was not made Priest without an oath 7:21 (for they have become priests without an oath, but He with an oath by Him who said to Him, “The LORD has sworn and will not relent, ‘You are a Priest forever according to the order of Melchi Zedek’ ”), 7:22 by so much more Yeshua has become a surety of a better Covenant.
The Holy Spirit fills the Body of all true believers in Yeshua.
But a demonic religious spirit rules the Orthodox religious Jews.
Listen to Yeshua’s words to the Pharisees, “You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do.” John 8:44
John 15:23 “He who hates Me hates My Father also.”
1 John 3:8 For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil.
After the Orthodox Jews have set up their temple on Mount Zion hill in Jerusalem and are doing their sacrifices and offerings to God, then the demonic spirits will usher in the false Messiah, the anti Christ, who will rule the world from Jerusalem for the last 3 ½ years of the great world Tribulation. (Daniel 9:27)
But long before this happens, God will have His finest hour, the greatest days of bringing in the world’s greatest Revival and Harvest of souls beginning from Jerusalem, in the ben Hinnom Valley in Jerusalem, which is located just below Mount Zion Hotel at the base of Mount Zion hill on the western side. The location of this coming Great Revival was prophesied in the book of Jeremiah. In chapter 31, the last verse… after announcing the New Covenant.
“And the whole valley of the dead bodies and of the ashes, and all the fields as far as the Brook Kidron, to the corner of the Horse Gate toward the east, shall be Holy to the LORD. It shall not be plucked up or thrown down anymore forever.” Jeremiah 31:40
There are eight places in the Holy Scriptures where we are told the Aaronic Priesthood will also continue forever. Exodus 29:9; Exodus 40:13-15; Numbers 10:8; Numbers 25:11-13; Deuteronomy 18:1,2,5; 1st Chronicles 23:13; Jeremiah 33:18,20-22; Malachi 2:4;
Had something already been done for the Aaronic Priesthood to continue forever? Has this already been accomplished? If so, when and where did this happen? I believe that this has already happened out there that fall day at the Jordan River, with Yeshua’s water mikveh being witnessed by Yeshua’s own blood kin cousin Yochanan, the man who was in highest position of true spiritual authority in all of Israel, the mystery Zadokite high priest of Israel.
There the authority over the Aaronic Priesthood was transferred by Yochanan to Yeshua, the head of the Melchi Zedek Priesthood.
This was in Yochanan’s act of submission to Yeshua’s request. Matthew 3:14 And Yochanan tried to prevent Him, saying, “I need to be baptized by You, and are You coming to me?” 3:15 Yeshua answered and said to him, “Permit it to be so now, for thus it is fitting for us to fulfill all Righteousness.” Then he allowed Him. 3:16 When He had been baptized, Yeshua came up immediately from the water; and behold, the Heavens were opened to Him, and He saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and alighting upon Him. 3:17 And suddenly a voice came from Heaven, saying, “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.”
I believe that what happened that day out at the Jordan River was that the Aaronic priesthood was brought into the Melchi Zedek Priesthood of Heaven, which pre existed the Aaronic Priesthood, since it is a forever Priesthood. I believe that Moses, who was in a higher position of true spiritual authority than his brother priest Aaron, had also been brought into the Heavenly Priesthood of God while he was up there with God during those 40 days on the top of Mount Sinai.
