Continuing with this mystery about Yeshua’s Wedding with His Bride (Wife) and the Wedding Banquet that follows… It is very important to see and understand from the Scriptures that the Wedding of Yeshua and His Bride can only take place in Heaven, and that the Wedding Banquet, or Marriage Supper of the Lamb which follows this Wedding, will be held in Jerusalem.
Shavuot, the 4th Feast of the LORD, was the Marriage Betrothal Covenant of God with Israel and also with the nations, for a mixed multitude were also gathered with Israel at Mt Sinai.
Since this 4th Feast of the LORD, Shavuot has been used twice by God, first at Mount Sinai with Yeshua sounding His Shofar call, the First Trump, and later in the Upper Room on Mount Zion hill in Jerusalem. This was the re-marriage betrothal of Yeshua with Israel, but only with the born again Israeli’s, (and later with those from the nations). This was the inauguration of the New Covenant (Jeremiah 31:31-34) with the first New Covenant believers.
And if Yom Kippur, the 6th Feast of the LORD is Lord Yeshua’s return with His Bride and His armies from Heaven, returning with Him to earth, seen in Revelation 19:11-16, then something very important has been missed which had happened in Heaven between the 4th and the 6th Feast of the LORD.
What happened on the mystery 5th Feast of the LORD? This 5th Feast is Yeshua’s Wedding with His Bride in Heaven!
When the seventh angel sounds the seventh trumpet in Revelation 11:15, we are then told in verse 18 two things would then happen. That the Mystery of God would be finished (Rev 10:7), that it is the time to reward God’s servants, the prophets and the saints (i.e. the Wedding in Heaven). And also that is the time for God to release His Wrath upon the earth, to begin destroying His enemies.
There is a major difference between the Marriage of Yeshua, the Lamb of God and His Bride, and also the Marriage Supper of the Lamb, the Greatest Celebration feast with food and guests.
In Matthew 25:10, only five of the ten virgins who were ready went in with Yeshua to the Marriage, and five were left behind.
Matthew 25:1 “Then the Kingdom of Heaven shall be likened to ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the Bridegroom. 25:4 the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps. 25:5 “But while the Bridegroom was delayed, they all slumbered and slept. 25:6 And at Midnight a cry was heard, ‘Behold, the Bridegroom is coming; go out to meet him!’ 25:10 And while they went to buy, the Bridegroom came, and those who were ready went in with Him to the Wedding; and the door was shut.” (The other five endured to the end.)
In Revelation 10:1-7, we are told more about this mystery …
Revelation 10:1 I saw still another mighty Angel coming down from Heaven, clothed with a cloud. And a rainbow was on His head, His face was like the sun, and His feet like pillars of fire. 10:2 He had a little book open in His hand. And He set His right foot on the sea and His left foot on the land, 10:3 and cried with a loud voice, as when a Lion Roars. When He cried out, seven thunders uttered their voices. 10:4 Now when the seven thunders uttered their voices, I was about to write; but I heard a voice from Heaven saying to me, “Seal up the things which the seven thunders uttered, and do not write them.” 10:5 The Angel whom I saw standing on the sea and on the land raised up His hand to Heaven 10:6 and swore by Him who lives forever and ever, who created heaven and the things that are in it, the earth and the things that are in it, and the sea and the things that are in it, that there should be delay no longer, 10:7 but in the days of the sounding of the seventh angel, when he is about to sound, the Mystery of God would be finished, as He declared to His servants the prophets.
This mighty Angel of the LORD is Yeshua, Himself!
When He roared like a Lion, seven thunders uttered there voices. Then something happened which Yochanan was about to write, when a voice from Heaven told him not to write. Because of what happened, this Mighty Messenger can then say that there will be delay no longer, but when the seventh angel is about to sound the seventh trumpet, that the Mystery of God would be finished, which God had told to His servants the prophets.
What is this Mystery of God mentioned in Revelation 10:7?
That Yeshua would Create for Himself a Bride from His Body!
The Wedding of Yeshua & His Bride happens in Heaven, and is finished by Revelation 11:15, at the sounding of the seventh trumpet by the seventh angel. This also takes place on the mystery Fifth Feast of the seven Feasts of the LORD, written in Leviticus 23:24. This Fifth feast is called Zichron Teruah; the Hebrew means, in commemoration of the Teruah first sounded at Mount Sinai, in Exodus 19. It is also called Yom Teruah (the Day of the Teruah), in Numbers 29:1. But it is better known as the Feast of Trumpets.
We can see this difference between the Marriage and the Marriage
Supper much more clearly in Revelation 19:7-9, with the Marriage of the Lamb Yeshua and His Wife (Bride) taking place in Heaven.
Revelation 19:7 Hallelujah! For the LORD God Omnipotent Reigns! Let us be glad and rejoice and give Him Glory, for the Marriage of the Lamb has come, and His wife has made herself ready.” 19:8 And to her it was granted to be arrayed in fine linen, clean and bright, for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the saints.
The Marriage Supper of the Lamb is a totally different event.
Revelation 19:9 “Blessed are those who are invited (the Guests) to the Marriage Supper of the Lamb!” In Revelation 19:11-21, we see King – Priest Yeshua returning to earth with His armies.
We also see the mystery of this Wedding Banquet in Yeshua’s parable of Matthew 22:1-14 … about a King who made a Wedding (banquet) for His Son, and then had the wedding banquet hall filled with the best of foods and also many guests …
Matthew 22:1 And Yeshua answered and spoke to them again by parables and said: 22:2 “The Kingdom of Heaven is like a certain King who arranged a Marriage [Greek, Wedding feast, Strong’s # 1062] for His Son, 22:3 and sent out his servants to call those who were invited to the Wedding [Greek, Strong’s # 1062]; and they were not willing to come. 22:4 Again, he sent out other servants, saying, ‘Tell those who are invited, “See, I have prepared my dinner [Greek is supper, Strong’s # 712]; my oxen and fatted cattle are killed, and all things are ready. Come to the Wedding [Greek,
Wedding feast, Strong’s # 1062].’ ” 22:5 But they made light of it and went their ways, one to his own farm, another to his business. 22:6 And the rest seized his servants, treated them spitefully, and killed them. 22:7 But when the King heard about it, he was furious. And he sent out his armies, destroyed those murderers, and burned up their city. 22:8 Then he said to his servants, ‘the Wedding [Greek, Wedding feast, Strong’s # 1062] is ready, but those who were invited were not worthy. 22:9 Therefore go into the highways, and as many as you find, invite to the Wedding [Greek, Wedding feast, Strong’s # 1062].’ 22:10 So those servants went out into the highways and gathered together all whom they found, both bad and good. And the Wedding [Greek, Wedding feast, Strong’s # 1062] hall was filled with guests. 22:11 “But when the King came in to see the guests, he saw a man there who did not have on a wedding garment. 22:12 So He said to him, ‘friend, how did you come in here without a wedding garment?’ And he was speechless. 22:13 Then the King said to the servants, ‘Bind him hand and foot, take him away, and cast him into outer darkness; there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’ 22:14 For many are called, but few are chosen.”
This parable in Matthew 22:1-14 is not about a Wedding at all, for the Greek tells us clearly this is the Wedding Banquet for His Son, with food and guests. And we are also told that this Wedding Banquet will not happen until after the King sends His armies and destroys all His enemies. For the Wedding had already happened. (Revelation 19:7, 8) The Wedding Banquet, the Marriage Supper of the Lamb, will only happen after Lord Yeshua returns with His armies to earth. Revelation 19:9,11-21 Only after Yeshua destroys all His enemies will He host this Marriage Supper of the Lamb.
This Supper will be held on the Seventh Feast of the LORD, the Feast of Succoth, or Feast of Tabernacles. A wedding banquet with food normally follows a wedding. This Wedding had already taken place before the King sent His armies and destroyed all His enemies on earth. (See Matthew 22:7 and Revelation 19:11-21) This Wedding Banquet, the Marriage Supper of the Lamb, will take place in Jerusalem after Lord Yeshua returns to earth.
Also another parable, Luke 12:36-40, gives us more important information regarding this Wedding Banquet, telling us that this event will only happen after the Lord returns from the Wedding.
Luke 12:32 “Do not fear, little flock, for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the Kingdom. 12:33 Sell what you have and give alms; provide yourselves money bags which do not grow old, a treasure in the Heavens that does not fail, where no thief approaches nor moth destroys. 12:34 For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. 12:35 Let your waist be girded and your lamps burning; 12:36 and you yourselves be like men who wait for their Master, when he will return from the Wedding, that when he comes & knocks they may open to him immediately. 12:37 Blessed are those servants whom the Master, when he comes, will find watching. Assuredly, I say to you that he will gird himself and have them sit down to eat, and he will come and serve them. 12:40 Therefore you also be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.”
It must also be pointed out that the Church, the Ecclesia is not Yeshua’s Bride, but His Body. And that the Lord Yeshua, after He returns to earth with His Bride, will come and sit down and serve His faithful servants who have endured on the earth to the end. As He returns from Heaven, He first saves those servants who have waited for Him, before He destroys all His enemies.
Matthew 10:22 “But he who endures to the end will be saved!”
This Wedding of Yeshua and His Bride will be held in Heaven, and then the Wedding Banquet will be held afterwards back down on earth in Jerusalem.
I believe the two witnesses who are called up to Heaven in Revelation 11:12, just before the seventh angel sounds the seventh trumpet in Revelation 11:15, may be the two best men at Yeshua’s Wedding in Heaven. They minister for 3 1/2 years, and will go up to Heaven a few months after the Roar of the Lion, in Revelation 10:3. For the remnant Bride had gone up to Heaven at the Roar of the Lion, a few months earlier (Revelation 10:3), where they are joined and complete Yeshua’s Bridal group already in Heaven, for the fullness of the Bride, in preparation for the coming Wedding, which happens in Revelation 11:15. This group began to gather for Yeshua’s Wedding almost 2000 years ago, when Yeshua rose into Heaven with many of the saints who had died in Messiah.
For to be absent from the Body is to be present with the Lord. And every true believer who has died has gone up to Heaven. Among those in Heaven are many who are members of His Bride.
I believe we see the Israeli religious Jews in Revelation 11:13, crying out to Yeshua, “Baruch Haba Bashem Yeshua Adonai!”
This will bring the Lord’s soon return. “You will not see Me again till you say, ‘Blessed is He who comes in the name of the LORD.’”
The Church is Yeshua’s Body; and within is His mystery Bride!
[Ephesians 1:23; 4:12-16; 5:30; Colossians 1:18, 24; 1 Cor 12:27]
Yeshua’s Bride are His closest disciples, His most trusted and loyal servants, His finest soldiers on the planet, given the most difficult assignments. They always put Him first above all things.
Yeshua’s Bride is made up from two groups, the 144,000 Jews of Revelation 7:3-8 from the 12 tribes of Israel, and also 144,000 Gentiles from Revelation 14:1-5. Both groups make up His Bride. She is a Shavuot first fruits two loaf ‘One New Man’ offering to the LORD. This first fruits two loaf offering is in Leviticus 23:17.
When will all this happen? The reign of the anti Christ from Jerusalem will begin the last 3 1/2 years of his 7 years of Great Tribulation. The two witnesses will begin one year prior, before the anti Christ begins, which puts the event of Revelation 11:15, and the Wedding of Yeshua and His Bride in Heaven around the end of the sixth year. After Revelation 11:15 ends, Yeshua and His Wife will have a one year honeymoon. Deuteronomy 24:5
At the same time the Wrath of God will then be released from Heaven onto the earth, which begins the Great Day of the LORD.
Isaiah 34:8 For it is the Day of the LORD’s Vengeance, the year of recompense for the cause of Zion. Isaiah 63:3, 4 For the Day of Vengeance is in My heart, and the year of My redeemed has come.
This will all be done to save God’s elect, to shorten the days of the anti Christ’s murdering of God’s people on the earth. The Wrath of God will end one year later on Yom Kippur, when Lord Yeshua returns with His Bride and the rest of His armies from Heaven, destroying all His enemies on that Day, while totally cleansing the heavens and the earth from all evil at His coming.
But first those believers who are still alive on earth will be caught up with all the others in the air in the heavens, immediately when King–High Priest Yeshua sounds His last Great Shofar, the Shofar Gadol, as He returns to earth.
The 7th Feast of the LORD, the Feast of Succoth, the Feast of Tabernacles will then inaugurate the Greatest Celebration Feast of all on earth, the Marriage Supper of the Lamb for Yeshua and His Wife, and for all those special guests who have been invited to this most spectacular event. This great feast will launch the Millennial Kingdom Reign of Yeshua and His Wife (Bride), and will also be held every year for 1000 years on Succoth, the Feast of Tabernacles, which happens to be on Yeshua’s true Birthday!
This great Wedding Banquet feast has also been prophesied in Isaiah 25:6-10, to be held on Mount Zion hill in Jerusalem.
Isaiah 25:6 And in this Mountain the LORD of hosts will make for all people a feast of choice pieces, a feast of wines on the lees, of fat things full of marrow, of well-refined wines on the lees. 25:7 And He will destroy on this Mountain (Zion) the surface of the covering cast over all people, and the veil that is spread over all nations. 25:8 He will swallow up death forever! And the Lord GOD will wipe away tears from all faces; the rebuke of His people He will take away from all the earth; for the LORD has spoken. 25:9 And it will be said in that day, “Behold, this is our God; we have waited for Him, and He will save us. This is the LORD; we have waited for Him; we will be glad and rejoice in His Salvation.” 25:10 For on this Mountain the Hand of the LORD will rest …
Succoth or Tabernacles is the true biblical Feast of Rejoicing!
Zechariah 14:9 And the LORD shall be King over all the earth. In that day it shall be “The LORD is One,” and His name One.
Zechariah 14:16 And it shall come to pass that everyone who is left, of all the nations which came against Jerusalem, shall go up from year to year to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, (Yeshua) and to keep the Feast of Tabernacles (Succoth).
