The Mystery of the Lord’s Return on Yom Kippur!
The 10 Places in the Bible where Yeshua sounds Shofar! Yeshua sounds His Shofar only two times into Creation: The 1st time was at Mt Sinai; the 2nd time will be at His Return on Yom Kippur – this is found in 7 places; + 2 times in Heaven.
Exodus 19:13, 16, 19 and Exodus 20:18 on Mount Sinai, the First Trump!
(Yeshua’s first Shofar call, Exodus 19:13 was called a Jubilee, הַיֹּבֵל, # 3104, and in the other places 19:16, 19:19, 20:18, this Trumpet is called Shofar.)
(Psalm 47:6 God ascended with a teruah, the LORD with the sound of the shofar;)
Most believers in Pre-trib Rapture use the Shofar Scripture from 1 Thessalonians. But this Scripture passage, along with six other Scripture passages of Yeshua sounding the Shofar, describes the events of the Lord Yeshua’s return from Heaven with His Bride and the rest of His Body, coming back to earth on the Feast Day of Yom Kippur (the Day of Atonement), when He sounds the Great Shofar blast. Being “caught up” does not refer to Yeshua’s Bride, as believed, but to all those believers who are still alive on earth, whom Yeshua instantly gathers to Himself in the heavens with the rest of His Bride and His Body, as He returns. For the Wedding of Yeshua and His Bride had already happened in Heaven, referred to in Revelation 10:1-7, Revelation 11:15-19, and Revelation 19:7, 8.
1 Thessalonians 4:16 The Lord shall descend from Heaven with a Shout, with the Voice of an archangel (or malakh, the Messenger of the LORD, the Angel of the LORD, Yeshua), and with a Trumpet of God, and the dead in Messiah shall rise first; 4:17 Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up (raptured) together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord (Yeshua) in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord.
Zechariah 9:14 The LORD shall be seen over them, and His arrow shall go forth as the lightning, and the Lord GOD shall blow the Shofar. (This is on the Feast of Battle!) Yeshua Himself sounds this Shofar!
Isaiah 18:3 All inhabitants of the world and dwellers on the earth, when … He blows a Trumpet (Shofar), you hear it!
Isaiah 27:12, 13 And it shall come to pass in that Day, that a Great Shofar (the Shofar Gadol) shall be blown! They shall come who were about to perish in the land of Assyria, and the outcasts in the land of Egypt; and they shall worship the LORD in the Holy Mountain (Mount Zion) at Jerusalem.
Matthew 24:27-31 “For as the lightning comes from the east and flashes to the west, so also will be the coming of the Son of Man. 24:28 For wherever the carcass is, there the eagles will be gathered together. 24:29 Immediately after the Tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken. 24:30 Then the Sign of the Son of Man will appear in Heaven, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with Power and great Glory. 24:31 He will send His angels with a Great Sound of a Trumpet, [the Shofar Gadol, or the Great Shofar] and they will gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of Heaven to the other.”
Mark 13:24-27 “But in those days, after that Tribulation, the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; 13:25 the stars of heaven will fall, and the powers in the heavens will be shaken. 13:26 Then they will see the Son of Man coming in the clouds with great Power and Glory. 13:27 He will send His angels, and gather together His elect from the four winds, from the farthest part of earth to the farthest part of Heaven.”
1 Corinthians 15:51- 54 Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed— 15:52 in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the Last Trumpet. For the Trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. 15:53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. 15:54 So when this corruptible has put on incorruption, and this mortal has put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, “Death is swallowed up in Victory.”
Ephesians 1:10 “… that in the dispensation of the fullness of the times, He might gather together in One all things in Messiah, both which are in Heaven and which are on earth, in Him.”
Psalm 50:5 “Gather My saints together to Me, those who have made a Covenant with Me by sacrifice.” On what Feast of the LORD is this?
Yeshua, the King – great High Priest of Heaven, after His Wedding and the one year honeymoon with His Bride (Deut 24:5; Isaiah 34:8; Isaiah 63:4) will leave His Home with His Bride in the Holy of Holies of Heaven, with the rest of the Body of believers and His angels, on the same day the high priest in the Jerusalem Temple would leave the Holy of Holies, on the most Holy Day of the Jewish biblical calendar, on Yom Kippur, Day of Atonement. But that Day is only Atonement for those who have repented and accepted Yeshua and the Sacrifice of His Life for all of their sins. For that Day, at the end of the Day of the LORD, is also the Day of Final Judgment for all those who have refused to accept Yeshua as their Lord and Savior, and refused His Blood Sacrifice for all their sins. These people are totally opposed to God.
It is the Day when Yeshua first saves all those who belong to Him, still alive on the earth, who have accepted Him as their Lord and Savior, and Messiah. But it is also the Day when He destroys all His enemies who are still on earth as He returns from Heaven.
And this will happen on God’s true biblical Year of Jubilee, on the day of Yom Kippur, as it was written in Leviticus 25:9. For it is on that Day Yeshua will destroy all the sins of the world. Yochanan, the Zadokite high priest, prophesied about Yom Kippur some two thousand years ago at the Jordan River, saying, “Behold the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world.” John 1:29
Leviticus 25:9-12 (in the Year of Jubilee!) “Then you shall cause the trumpet of the Jubilee to sound on the tenth day of the seventh month; on the Day of Atonement you shall make the shofar to sound throughout all your land. 25:10 And you shall consecrate the fiftieth year, and proclaim liberty throughout all the land to all its inhabitants. It shall be a Jubilee for you; and each of you shall return to his possession, and each of you shall return to his family. 25:11 That fiftieth year shall be a Jubilee to you; on the tenth day of the seventh month (Yom Kippur); in it you shall neither sow nor reap what grows of its own accord, nor gather the grapes of your untended vine. 25:12 For it is the Jubilee; (Strong’s # 3104) it shall be holy to you; you shall eat its produce from the field.”
Three Biblical Proofs that these Revelations are correct …
The first biblical proof was the teaching that God gave to His Aaronic priests, that when two silver trumpets were sounded together at the same time, that this would cause the whole camp of the 12 tribes of Israel to be gathered together to Moses and the Presence of God at the Tent of Meeting.
Numbers 10:1 And the LORD spoke to Moses, saying, 10:2 “Make two silver trumpets for yourself; you shall make them of hammered work; you shall use them for calling the congregation and for directing the movement of the camps. 10:3 When they blow both of them, all the congregation shall gather before you at the door of the Tabernacle of Meeting.”
Lord Yeshua first sounded His Shofar calls over the Israelite camp at Mount Sinai. That was called the First Trump. Besides being when God gave Israel the 10 Commandments, that was also a call for Yeshua’s Bride to come forth from the earth, from both Jews and Gentiles. That was when God first entered into a Marriage Betrothal Covenant with Israel and the Nations, for a mixed multitude of Gentiles was also in the Israelite camp.
Yeshua does not exist within time. When He uses His Voice next as a Shofar, this will be as He returns from Heaven to earth with His Bride and the rest of His armies to set up His Millennial Kingdom on earth. This will be the second time that the Shofar is sounded. And like His instructions first given to the Aaronic priests, this will cause the total gathering of His Body to instantly come into His Presence in the heavens, those from Heaven and those still on the earth, as He returns to earth at the Last & Great Trump. This is the full Revelation of the Shofar of God, which the Holy Spirit has been teaching me over many years!
But the Shofar calls sounded by Yeshua at Mount Sinai had its origin in an event that had originally happened to Abraham when He had been asked by God to offer up His son Isaac as a burnt offering on Mount Moriah. There God spared Isaac with a ram caught by its two horns, so that his son Isaac’s life would be spared, in order that the nation of Israel would be born. And the two horns of that ram would later represent the two times that God Yeshua would use His Voice as a Shofar, for His plans for His Bride and the rest of His Body, and for His Millennial Reign on earth for 1000 years.
Genesis 22:1 Now it came to pass after these things that God tested Abraham, and said to him, “Abraham!” And he said, “Here I am.” 22:2 Then He said, “Take now your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you.” 22:3 So Abraham rose early in the morning and saddled his donkey, and took two of his young men with him, and Isaac his son; and he split the wood for the burnt offering, and arose and went to the place of which God had told him. 22:8 And Abraham said, “My son, God will provide for Himself the lamb for a burnt offering.” 22:12 And He said, “Do not lay your hand on the lad, or do anything to him; for now I know that you fear God, since you have not withheld your son, your only son, from Me.” 22:13 Then Abraham lifted his eyes and looked, and there behind him was a ram caught in a thicket by its (two) horns. So Abraham went and took the ram, and offered it up for a burnt offering instead of his son. 22:14 And Abraham called the name of the place, the LORD will provide; as it is said to this day, “In the Mount of the LORD it shall be provided.” 22:15 Then the Angel of the LORD (Yeshua) called to Abraham a second time out of heaven, 22:16 and said, “By Myself, I have sworn, says the LORD, because you have done this thing, and have not withheld your son, your only son (whom you love … 22:2) 22:17 that in blessing I will bless you, and multiplying I will multiply your descendants as the stars of the heaven and as the sand which is on the seashore; and your descendants shall possess the gate (Jerusalem) of their enemies. 22:18 In your Seed all the nations of the earth shall be blessed, because you have obeyed My Voice.” [This was spoken by God at Mount Moriah!]
Yeshua also used His voice twice like a Trumpet in Revelation:
Yeshua confirmed these revelations about this Truth a third time by using His Voice twice as a Trumpet in the Book of Revelation.
(1) Revelation 1:10, 11 I (John) was in the Spirit on the Lord’s day, and heard behind me a Great Voice as of a Trumpet, saying, “I Am the Aleph and the Tav, the First and the Last.”
(2) Revelation 4:1 The first Voice which I heard was like a Trumpet speaking with me, saying, ‘Come up here!’
It now becomes very clear that Yeshua does not take His Bride up to Heaven with the Shofar. We see Yeshua’s Bride going up to Heaven in Matthew 25:1-10, and it happens at the Midnight Hour.
So what and when is the Midnight Hour, and also is it found in any other places in the Scriptures? The Midnight Hour happens very late in the Great Tribulation years. And it happens when Yeshua Roars like a Lion, in Revelation. It happens just before the Wrath of God is released upon the earth, beginning the Day of the LORD.
Matthew 25:1 “Then the Kingdom of Heaven shall be likened to ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the Bridegroom. 25:2 Now five of them were wise, and five were foolish. 25:3 Those who were foolish took their lamps and took no oil with them, 25:4 but the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps. 25:5 But while the Bridegroom was delayed, they all slumbered and slept. 25:6 And at Midnight a cry was heard, ‘Behold, the Bridegroom is coming; go out to meet him!’ 25:7 Then all those virgins arose and trimmed their lamps. 25:8 And the foolish said to the wise, ‘Give us some of your oil, for our lamps are going out.’ 25:9 But the wise answered, saying, ‘No, lest there should not be enough for us and you; but go rather to those who sell, and buy for yourselves.’ 25:10 And while they went to buy, the Bridegroom came, and those who were ready went in with Him to the Wedding; and the door was shut.”
This mystery of the Midnight Hour can also be seen here …
Revelation 10:1 I saw still another mighty Angel coming down from Heaven, clothed with a cloud. And a rainbow was on His head, His face was like the sun, and His feet like pillars of fire. 10:2 He had a little book open in His hand. And He set His right foot on the sea and His left foot on the land, 10:3 and cried with a loud voice, as when a Lion Roars. When He cried out, seven thunders uttered their voices. 10:4 Now when the seven thunders uttered their voices, I was about to write; but I heard a voice from Heaven saying to me, “Seal up the things which the seven thunders uttered, and do not write them.” 10:5 The Angel whom I saw standing on the sea and on the land raised up His hand to Heaven 10:6 and swore by Him who lives forever and ever, who created heaven and the things that are in it, the earth and the things that are in it, and the sea and the things that are in it, that there should be delay no longer, 10:7 but in the days of the sounding of the seventh angel, when he is about to sound, the Mystery of God would be finished, as He declared to His servants the prophets. This Mighty Angel of the LORD is Yeshua! And when He roared like a Lion and seven thunders uttered there voices.
Then something happened which Yochanan was about to write, when a voice from Heaven told him not to write. Because of what happened, this Mighty Messenger can then say that there will be delay no longer, but when the seventh angel is about to sound the seventh trumpet, that the Mystery of God would be finished, which God had told to His servants the prophets. What is this Mystery of God? That God would create a Bride for Himself!
Revelation 11:15 Then the seventh angel sounded. And there were loud voices in heaven, saying, “The kingdoms of this world have become the Kingdoms of our Lord and of His Messiah, and He shall Reign forever and ever!” 11:16 And the twenty-four elders who sat before God on their thrones fell on their faces and worshipped God, 11:17 saying, “We give You thanks, O Lord God Almighty, the One who is and who was and who is to come, because You have taken Your great Power and Reigned. 11:18 The nations were angry, and Your Wrath has come. And the time of the dead, that they should be judged. And that You should reward Your servants the prophets and the saints, and those who fear Your name, small and great. And should destroy those who destroy the earth.” 11:19 Then the Temple of God was opened in Heaven, and the Ark of His Covenant was seen in His Temple. And there were lightnings, thunderings, an earthquake, & great hail.
The Church is Yeshua’s Body; and within is His mystery Bride! I believe this Wedding in Heaven of Yeshua & His Bride happens and is finished by Revelation 11:15, at the sounding of the seventh trumpet by the seventh angel. This also takes place on the mystery Fifth Feast of the seven Feasts of the LORD, written in Leviticus 23:24 This Fifth feast is called Zichron Teruah; the Hebrew means: in commemoration of the Teruah first sounded at Mount Sinai, in Exodus 19. It is also called Yom Teruah (the Day of the Teruah), in Numbers 29:1. But it is best known as ‘the Feast of Trumpets.’ Yeshua’s Bride is the First Fruits Harvest, made up of two groups of 144, 000 believers, seen in Revelation 7:4-8 & Revelation 14:1-5. His Bride are His closest disciples, servants, soldiers on the planet. Revelation 19:7 Hallelujah! For the LORD God Omnipotent Reigns! Let us be glad and rejoice and give Him Glory, for the Marriage of the Lamb has come, and His wife has made herself ready.” 19:8 And to her it was granted to be arrayed in fine linen, clean and bright, for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the saints.
More Scriptures regarding the Lord’s Return:
Matthew 10:22 and Mt 24:13 “But he who endures to the end will be saved!”
John 5:25 “Most assuredly, I say to you, the hour is coming, and now is, when the dead will hear the Voice of the Son of God; and those who hear will live.”
John 6:39 “This is the will of My Father who sent Me, that of all He has given Me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up at the last day.” 6:40 “And this is the will of Him who sent Me, that everyone who sees the Son and believes in Him may have Everlasting Life; and I will raise him up at the last day.” 6:44 “No one can come to Me unless My Father who sent Me draws him; and I will raise him up at the last day.”
Matthew 24:27 “For as the lightning comes from the east and flashes to the west, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. 24:28 For wherever the carcass is, there (in Heaven) eagles will be gathered together. 24:30 Then the Sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn … 24:34 Assuredly, I say to you, this generation will by no means pass away till all these things take place. 24:35 Heaven earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away. 24:36 “But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, but My Father only. 24:37 But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. 24:38 For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, 24:39 and did not know until the flood came and took them all away, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. 24:40 Then two men will be in the field: one will be taken and the other left. 24:41 Two women will be grinding at the mill: one will be taken and the other left. 24:42 Watch therefore, for you do not know what hour your Lord is coming. 24:43 But know this, that if the master of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched and not allowed his house to be broken into. 24:44 Therefore you also be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.” (also in Luke 17:24-37)
What is this Sign of the Son of Man? It will be when all the earth sees Lord Yeshua sitting at the right Hand of Power, next to His Heavenly Father.
Mark 14:61 But He (Yeshua) kept silent and answered nothing. Again the high priest asked Him, saying to Him, “Are You the Messiah, the Son of the Blessed?” 14:62 Yeshua said, “I Am! And you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right Hand of the Power, and coming with the Clouds of Heaven.”
Daniel 7:13 “I was watching in the night visions, and behold, One like the Son of Man, coming with the clouds of heaven! He came to the Ancient of Days, and they brought Him near before Him. 7:14 Then to Him was given Dominion and Glory and a Kingdom, that all peoples, nations, and languages should serve Him. His Dominion is an Everlasting Dominion, which shall not pass away, and His Kingdom the one which shall not be destroyed.”
