A few days ago was my birthday. I was born 68 years ago at 5 AM in the morning on January 27, 1949. The doctor came out and congratulated my father on the birth of their son. My dad was overjoyed (in those days parents did not know the gender of the child until birth) as he already had two daughters. Five minutes later, the same doctor came out and congratulated him a second time on the birth of a daughter! My dad was both overjoyed and in shock at the same time. In those days parents did not know that twins were on the way either.
I praise God for sixty eight years of wonderful life and especially for the last forty in which I have walked as God’s beloved son. And I also thank Him for being able to celebrate this year that stands before me in good health. By God’s miraculous grace, I am healed of cancer and your prayers, your support and your unending love have helped to release this gift for which I am forever grateful.
A New Day for America
One of the major events this month was the Presidential Inauguration which was viewed by many Israelis. Here in Israel this change has ushered in a most welcome, fresh wave of confidence and optimism. Israelis feel once again as if they have a friend in the White House. It seems obvious that Barak Obama’s misunderstanding of Israel’s position as it faces the horrendous hatred and theology of the Islamic nations has been replaced by Donald Trump’s right understanding of the evil that confronts this and many other nations. Please join us in praying daily for the wisdom of God to lead President Trump. Pray that he will come into a living knowledge of Yeshua and that his support of this nation will continue unwaveringly.
The Promised Land
The endless demand from so many governments throughout the earth for Israel to give the Palestinians a land of their own by giving away a large portion of our nation is first and foremost a violation of God’s Word. The land that Israel currently occupies is a partial fulfillment of a Biblical Israel promise that God declared repeatedly in the Bible. Two undeniable examples of this much repeated promise occur in Genesis 13:15 when God promises to Israel that “All the land that you see I will give to you and your offspring forever.” Again in Genesis 17:8 He declares that; “The whole land of Canaan, where you now reside as a foreigner, I will give as an everlasting possession to you and your descendants after you; and I will be their God.”
The amazing rebirth of Israel in 1948 after nearly 2000 years of longing to return home was an end time miracle. In so many ways it helped to establish physical realities that must be present for the Lord’s return to be fulfilled. The scripture tells us that “On that day His feet will stand on the Mount of Olives” (Zachariah 14:4) and again, Jesus’s disciples are promised that; “This same Jesus, who has been taken from you into heaven, will come back in the same way you have seen Him go into heaven.” (Mark 1:10) On the incredible day of His return, His feet must touch down in the Jewish city of Jerusalem and not to the Islamic capital of Palestine.
May we stand together in strong and world changing faith to see God’s eternal promises fulfilled.
Signs and Wonders
Another event we are believing for in these days is the manifestation of “signs and wonders”. We believe that we are coming into a time of mass harvest not only among the Jews of Israel but that a mighty wave of salvation is going to sweep the whole earth. Multitudes of Muslims are going to throw down their demonic faith for the revelation of the love of God and His Son, Yeshua. Pagan peoples and nations throughout the earth are going to turn to their true Creator and multitudes throughout the earth will be saved. We believe with all of our hearts that this FLOOD OF SALVATION is going to be encouraged through the supernatural manifestation of signs and wonders by those who love Him. This gifting will not only be brought forth by a small group of apostles (Acts5:12) but each of us who believe will “cast out devils; we shall “speak with new tongues” and we “shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.” (Mark 16:17-18)
It is our prayer today that we would do the work of God which is: “to believe in the one he has sent.” (John 6:29) As we exercise our faith, we will be stretched beyond the natural into the supernatural. Signs and wonders WILL follow us; the sick will be healed, the dead raised, lepers cleansed and the lost will be saved.
We praise God that he has given us this moment to live. May his amazing and wonderful love overflow in all of our lives in the coming days. To God be all the Glory!
