Update and Prayer Request for Messianic Pastor in Jerusalem

On Tuesday, August 11, 2015 the Messianic Pastor of Congregation Ahavat Yeshua in Jerusalem, Eddie Santoro underwent successful surgery to remove a tumor on the left side of his brain. Click here for the initial post-surgery report.

We thank all of you who have kept Eddie in your prayers.  Eddie has been touched by the love and support everyone around the world has shown him. This upcoming Wednesday, August 26, is the day that they meet with the oncologist. Please continue to pray for the biopsy results, wisdom and skill from the doctors, and for healing and a full recovery.

During our conversation today with Eddie, he said that “both Jackie and I are walking through this together. God is showing us that there is a time for war and a time for peace, a time for battle and a time for rest. And now is the time to rest — to rest in Him.”

May God continue to direct and guide all involved and to comfort Eddie and Jackie as they walk through this process together. May God receive all the glory through this.

His disciples asked him, “Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?” “Neither this man nor his parents sinned,” said Jesus, “but this happened so that the works of God might be displayed in him. (John 9:2-4)
