Vengeance is Mine, says the LORD – A response to the UN resolution

Yes, stand and applaud, delegates to the Security Council who last night achieved your long-held goal of prohibiting Israel from building homes for Jews in the Jews’ own land.

Soon you’ll be laughed to scorn.

Congratulate yourselves, wretched representatives of the governments of New Zealand, Spain, France, the United Kingdom and the United States – once Judeo-Christian nations that have taken an axe to the root of your very own tree.

Smile, cowards, who raced to pass your repulsive resolution while Israel rested on the Sabbath after its prime minister sent you wishes for a “Merry Christmas,” and the rest of the world, attention on this holiday, barely noticed your perfidy.

You US Judas, deliberately withholding the shielding veto Heaven has granted you to raise over Israel. Samantha Power, transparently trying to disguise the duplicity of the deal by paying lip service to expressions of Obama’s ‘sincere commitment to peace’.

‘Friend’, you betrayed Israel with a kiss.

And as for the leaders of that upstart island of less than five million – they couldn’t bear to end their tenure on the Security Council without trying to “punch above their weight” and steer the course of another nation, a nation with millennia of history alongside which theirs is barely a child.

For shame, New Zealand. One hundred years ago your soldiers sacrificially helped the Jews get back their land. Today, trampling on the graves of your own dead, you have sought to take it away.

Assuredly you will fail. Assuredly you already have. When you leave the UNSC on December 31 and go back to taking care of your own land and your own security – be mindful of the earthquakes which threaten to take those from you.

Fools, and blind, you nations – all of you. Lying through your teeth, you sign onto the Goebbelsian lie in your resolution that calls Israel’s ancestral lands and ancient capital “occupied Palestinian territory, including east Jerusalem”.

There is no Palestinian territory. There never has been. You can call it that until you are blue in the face but it has never been – and it is not – Palestinian territory.

Weeks ago you let UNESCO cut the Jews off from their holiest site, the Temple Mount, the Mountain of the Lord.

You’re going to learn this soon. You will eventually get it: The Land belongs to the LORD God of Israel. Jerusalem is the City of David. The Temple Mount is the Mountain of the LORD – the throne room of the Great King.

Before this God, oh arrogant nations, you are less than a drop in the bucket.

The Lord Himself will judge between you and Israel, and the Lord will avenge Himself upon you. You shall not know blessing on your treachery of last night.

Soon we will see you held in derision.

Heaven will put you to shame.

Why do the nations rage,
And the people plot a vain thing?
The kings of the earth set themselves,
And the rulers take counsel together,
Against the Lord and against His Anointed, saying,
“Let us break Their bonds in pieces
And cast away Their cords from us.”
He who sits in the heavens shall laugh;
The Lord shall hold them in derision.
Then He shall speak to them in His wrath,
And distress them in His deep displeasure:
“Yet I have set My King
On My holy hill of Zion.”
(Psalm 2:1-6)
