O seed of Abraham His servant, you children of Jacob, His chosen ones. He is the Lord our God; His judgments are in all the earth. He remembers His covenant forever, The word which He commanded, for a thousand generations, The covenant which He made with Abraham, And His oath to Isaac, And confirmed it to Jacob for a statute, To Israel as an everlasting covenant, Saying, “To you I will give the land of Canaan As the allotment of your inheritance.” – Psalm 105:6 – 11
Last week I wrote about being in alignment with GOD and with each other. As Bible believers we have no business forming our perspectives and opinions from anywhere except the Word of GOD.
Israel is set to annex sizable parts of Judea and Samaria on July 1. I made the word annex in bold because that is the word being used, but it is not the correct word as a nation can not annex land that is already rightfully theirs. As you will read below, the land in dispute was promised to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob as an everlasting covenant, for the Jewish people to possess. (Jer. 30:3) I made Judea and Samaria bold because those are the real names of the territory that the enemies of Israel and the media, call the West Bank or the Occupied Territories. Some even call it the Illegally Occupied Territories, as if they have the authority to declare who are, or who are not the legitimate occupiers of the Promised Land.
The root of the problem is that the majority of world politicians and the secular media give no credibility to the Bible and the boundaries that GOD has set for the nations. What is even more shocking is that the majority of people who claim to be Christians, align themselves with the worldly view, rather than the Biblical view. This is because they spend more time in the media than in the Bible. The media constantly repeats the false accusations against Israel, following the program of Joseph Goebels, the Nazi propaganda minister, that if you repeat a lie enough times, it will become accepted as the truth. That is what has happened with Israel’s legitimate right to the land – most of the world and much of the Church wrongly believe that Israel is occupying Arab lands.
The bid problem that began in the Middle East and has spread to many other nations will not go away until Messiah comes to Jerusalem to resolve it. It is a 4000 year old family feud over the land contract that was made by God with Abraham in Genesis 15:17 – 21. Israel and the Jewish people have suffered persecution since the time that God allocated the gave the Promised Land to Abraham and his seed. If we truly live in the time preceding the 2nd coming of Messiah, then we should realise that this issue is central to the final fulfillment of all the prophecies that must take place before the Lord is released form Heaven (Acts 3:21), to come to take His Bride and set up His millenial rule.
The secular world leaders and the secular media have no way of ever seeing the truth and the roots of the problem, because they give no place to the authority of the Bible. As sons and daughters of the God of Israel living in these last days in the anointing of Ruth, Esther and Elijah, we are called to be Israel’s friends, to go before kings on Israel’s behalf, and to boldly and unashamedly declare the Word of the Lord.
As I studied the subject “Whose Land Is It?”, the Lord led me to several scriptures that forever put an end to the questions and arguments over who should be living in the disputed territory. I want to share those scripture with you, so that you will be sure how to pray and be able to declare the truth to others, Christians or non-believers alike, who like the majority of the world have no idea whose land it really is and have opted to take the side of the mythical Palestinians in an attempt to take the land back from its rightful tenants.
Psalm 24:1 The Earth is the Lords and all its fullness. It’s the LORD’s land to do with what He chooses.
Psalm 115:16 The Heavens, even the Heavens are the Lords, but the Earth He has given to the children of men. We have no access to Heaven YET – but He has given us the Earth.
Acts 17:26 He has preappointed our times and boundaries.
Psalm 105:7-11 And confirmed it to Jacob for a statute, to Israel as an everlasting covenant; saying to you I will give the land of Canaan.
Many will say “Yes but Israel broke the covenant.” No, they didn’t as Abraham was asleep when God made this land covenant – it is an unconditional covenant Genesis 15:17.
“OK but Israel disobeyed God.” So do we every day. Does that mean God will break His covenant? Romans 11:21 the gifts and callings of God are irrevocable.
“Yes but God scattered them.” Yes, but He also promised He would regather them at the end of the age. Jeremiah 30:3 For behold the days are coming says the Lord, that I will bring back from captivity, My people Israel and Judah, And I will cause them to return to the land that I gave to their fathers, and they shall possess it. If someone tries to tell you that was talking about the return from Babylon, read them Deuteronomy 30:3-5. This is clearly talking about a return from the fartherest parts of the Earth, not from nearby Babylon. And Isaiah 11:11-12 makes it very clear that it referring to our time.
So if you were not 100% sure before, now you can be sure you know whose land it is. These are the Days of Elijah – time to declare the Word of the LORD – its the only source of the truth. Do not feel bad about being a lone voice. That is the ministry of Elijah – a lone voice crying in the wilderness.
I have written this comment to encourage all of our readers in the nations to pray from now until the so called “annexation” is implemented. This is not a political issue, this is a Kingdom issue. YHVH is very serious when it come to His reputation as a covenant making, covenant keeping GOD. And Yeshua will not be released from Heaven to re-establish the Kingdom on the Earth until all of the promises made through the prophets have been fulfilled. (Acts 3:21) I am encouraging you to fulfill the calling in 2 Peter 3:12 to hasten the day of the Lord’s return by praying the words that GOD spoke through the prophets concerning the return of the land, (Jeremiah 30:3) the return of the 12 tribes of Israel to their ancient homeland (Ezekiel 36:8-10) and for their salvation (Romans 11:26).
