The holiday season here in Israel is always a special time filled with all kinds of events and happenings. In size, in numbers, in famousness, our events may be small but in God’s heart, all that we do is vital and important for the manifestation of His purposes in our day.
Several nights ago, we took a newly married couple out to dinner. To our surprise our waiter turned out to be a very friendly, sweet young man that we had witnessed to before. He had been our waiter two times previously over the course of at least 6 months but we hadn’t seen him the last few times we had gone to this restaurant. “O” was as happy to see us as we were to see him and almost at once I started speaking to him about Yeshua and reminding him of our past conversations.
A few minutes later he left to do his work in the busy restaurant. At the same moment I heard the voice of the Lord say, “Ask him. Tonight is his night.” So when he returned, I told him what God had spoken to me about him receiving Yeshua on this very night. He looked at me with a big smile and declared an overwhelming “Yes!”
He left again to wait on tables. Towards the end of our meal, he had not returned so I went to look for him. I found him on the other side of the dining room and asked him again if he really wanted to receive Yeshua on this night. Again, he gave me a resounding “yes!” He came back to our table and we stood there, laid hands on him and he spoke the life changing words and received Yeshua as his God and Savior.
We left him with great joy and we are planning to get together next week. Please pray for this young man. Pray that God opens time in his busy schedule between work and school to come to meetings and that he would receive the Word with faith. We have shared the Lord with so many Israelis and he is our first fruit. Whether it is in a restaurant, a store, a mall or on the sidewalk, I share God’s love with many and am believing that we are going to see a great harvest in our day. Together let us all declare a “yes and amen” before God.
Last Friday evening we celebrated the Feast of Trumpets, Rosh HaShana. For the second year in a row our congregation joined several other Messianic Congregations along with SEVERAL ARAB CHURCHES. It was truly amazing to invest two hours of praise, worship, prayer and fellowship together. The meeting was packed with over 600 in attendance and we know that as the fellowship between Jew and Arab grows, the power and destiny of Israel will also take its place of dominance.
Feast of Trumpets Celebration
I also attend several other meetings each month where Jewish and Arab pastors spend time together. As we walk in unity with each other, there is an overwhelming testimony of the power of God’s love between us. Greater is His love than all the powers of hate, fear and rejection that are brought forth by Satan. Now and in the end, God is the victor and there will be a Body of Believers from every tribe, nation and tongue that love Jesus and love each other. Join us in praying and believing that we will see it in our day.
